Hey guys,
I saw this add on Ebay, where this company called La Roche was selling a product called Pheromone-4 Flore which uses Civet,Deer Musk,Castoreum(Beaver),and Ambergris. For 150dollars for 3ml that is some expensive shit!! Just wondering if anyone has tried and what your opinion is of these natural products.

I have a feeling Nude Alpha, has some kind of animal musk in it hence why the price is so expensive. Also noticed that NA has a musky smell.

I have only tried Amouage fragrances. Some of them contain animal notes like civet. Smells like cat to me lol. Smells strange and I somehow like it, but I won't want to smell like that!

Ruthvah, a combination of Civet, Deer Musk, and Ambergris is considered one of the most powerful fragrances around in terms of its pheromonal impact. I can vouch for the power of musk and ambergris combined. Civet, though I've less experience with, shows some promise, but the reactions can be very polarizing. Castoreum is touted for its pheromonal properties as well, though it too is extremely polarizing.

I'd consider the price not entirely unreasonable, if the ingredients are of top quality. Ensure they're using white ambergris - if that's the case, they certainly won't have lazed out on the other ingredients.

So in your opinion how are they compared to synthethic mones. Like self-effects and hits wise. How do they act? Like socials or alpha or sexual?

Civet is more of a sexual than anything. It can be especially off-putting to some women, but works best on blondes.

Ambergris and Musk have this relaxing quality to them - both can be sexual, but not in the same blatant sense as civet - in other words, it's a slow-burn, something you ease into.

Hits are no more or less intense than a good mix of synthetic mones. One important difference is that you won't see the same range of effects as you might see from synthetic mones - the effects are less specific. Both have their place. A well-chosen mix of fragrant components can easily stand up to many of the mixes being used today. Combining the two is appropriate as well, and generally results in effects greater than either used alone.

I appreciate you sharing your knowledge, i was wondering if they could be used with synthethics. I am seriously considering getting some but the price tag is huge. For 3ml it probably wouldn't last long or is the dosing different with these things? Also does it act like somewhat of a coverscent?

Yes, they can be used with synthetic mones, absolutely.

As to the dosage, I haven't used this exact product, but I have used similar. I imagine 1 drop will be plenty. You may even be able to dilute it and still get the results you'd want.

It is a coverscent, but again, the scents of both civet and castoreum can be polarizing. Whether or not you like the smell, and the reactions in others, will determine whether you find it suitable as a coverscent.

Ah, Thanks good to know i guess i'm going to hold off on these then. As because i just invested with some friends on a bunch of creed fragrances as cover. I guess i have the cover scent basis covered.

IMO, ambergris smell is nice enough to not need a cover scent. Not sure if it covers the other smells though

Heres one that is pure white Ambergris oil from the same guy. They have smaller samples too. I might try this option....

So is this how one would make their own high end scents? Is a blend for all four better than just one? Sounds like the Civet isn't prefect...

How does one find other high end premade products like creed? None of the websites I went to allowed to filter high to low and Creed seems to be 10x as pricey as the expensive colognes. Are they the Ferrari? or the Mclaren ?
