So what's your experience with it? I tried one round last night and felt awesome. I will try more today because I am into deep breathing but looking for something a little more effective than the typical stuff.

Tried 2 rounds today and felt tingly all over. I can definitely feel the "energy" through my body. I donno if it's "energy" as in divine cosmic intelligence, but deep breathing does seem to help me manifest and connect with spiritual forces.

Just be careful..........Wim Hof is losing his hair, which might be related to ongoing stress from his exercises.

..........on the other hand, he does appear to have a bunch of lab results to back up his health claims.

If you read Danny Roddy's work, he has a different opinion about hair loss. He claims to have stopped his hair loss, and regrown it fully with diet + supplementation.

After reading Ray Peat's material on the subject, I'm inclined to agree with him.

I mention Wim Hof's thinning hair, as it might be an indication that performing this on a regular basis may be harmful in the long run. Having said that, his method does appear to evoke a higher metabolic rate and core temperature (both excellent markers of health), which may mean that another part of his lifestyle is causing the hair loss.

I have been doing the first week protocol for 4 days. The main thing I am noticing so far is much better, deeper sleep.

Yeah I dreamt vividly last night, which is unusual. I usually dream rarely, but only if I sleep deeply.

It is tough though! It really challenges you to face your fears and RELAX. It's an ascetic practice.
