No interest in starting a fight with someone I respect.

All I can do is read your last post and shake my head. Fair enough to say that PSX products do nothing for you but how do you extrapolate that out to the company being incapable. To me we have a number of companies using the same pallet of mones with different visions. Ascend does nothing for me compared to BW (or AT). Glace is still my main social (although I do like orbital) while LIIK stands alone as a mix above it's competition (Evolve is an honorable mention). I've been impressed with AT & GOA...I've got samples from love potion (or whatever it's called) on the way. To me every vendor here has there own vision and each has some products that stand out and others that don't.

No single vendor has a corner on the top or the bottom of the market. I do think that at this point Thundr is the one driving the market and that as he spends all his efforts focused on Apex he will set the bar higher for everyone else.

Same goes for me - no hostility was intended. I apologize if I came off that way.

I'm frustrated with the way things are going at PXS, that's all. They have so much capability, and more knowledge of single molecules than any vendor out there save Androtics, but it seems it's all going to waste. The mixes being put out by PXS often pale in comparison to their competition. PXS has a long way to go, but I think they can catch up eventually. I'm trying to formulate mixes for this vendor for this very reason.

I agree with that last bit - thundr is really stepping up to the plate, turning Apex into a brand that could be topping LAL in the near future. Competition is good - it's what pushes vendors to greatness in this hobby, and the users benefit as much as the vendors themselves, oftentimes.

There's one thing that we seem to be missing here: this is a business.

PXS is growing faster than other companies mainly due to Stevo's marketing; love it or hate it, it works! Just look at different vendor's websites to see who's the most organized.

As much as I love Thundr, Apex has been slow going in terms of the growth of the business, where Stevo appears to be all-guns-blazing.

The company with the superior products is not necessarily the most financially successful (See Alpha Dream). Chris might be one of the most knowledgeable guys in the industry, but his business acumen is horrible; one problem after another.

In the end, each vendor has something to offer, and hopefully competition pushes everyone in the right direction. Having said that, a monster product could be a complete game changer in the right hands.

Products :

LAL : Bad Wolf, Nude Alpha, Voodoo, Aqua Vitae, Max T-150 Cops Stick, Dirty Primitive, Primitive
AD : LIIK (v2-pre 2015), Alfa Masschio (pre 2015), Glace
Androtics : A314 (31), Instant Shine, Ammo, MX331-334, MX292 (original), TUTH, CTTM, Spaceland, Instant Jerk, Instant Honesty
LS : (N) New Pheromone Additive
PT : The Hookup, Captain, GOA, AT
Apex : Core (v1), Imprint, Dionysos, Orbital, M3X. Manimal (oil)
PXS : SOB (Oil/spray), Cohesion (oil/spray), Evolve (oil), Domination, Xist (oil/spray), Connections, Love Boat, XS129B-PSE, XS106A, XS121B (AS), Flirt, Bliss, Exotica, Desire Me (oil), Taboo (spray/oil), Ascend (oil), API (oil)

That's true, and I've mentioned PXS' marketing quite a bit in my posts. They do an excellent job on that end, but the product quality just isn't there for me. The only reason I'm still purchasing their products is because occasionally, they put out something worthwhile (typically a simple mix).

If we're going to talk about marketing, PherX and Pherlure are far more successful than Steve is, perhaps more successful than he could aspire to. I appreciate innovation - effective innovation, not innovation for the sake of innovation (though that can work). This is what I'm seeing with Apex and LAL, not so much with PXS (though I'll emphasize, they're slowly inching their way up). This being a hobbyist forum, I'd like to think we're all looking for innovation here.

Ekscentra,

Remind me...what are your testing grounds like? Small town, no? How do you test?

There are so many variables with products, it's ridiculous. Person+location, person+location+relation-to-target(friend/stranger), person+mood, person's looks/hygiene/level of charisma, age, cultural attributes of location...list goes on.

I get different results with Xist from different people. Some, no reaction. Others, sexual body language within 30s. SOB is one of the few 'mones I own where, within 30s, I get a rush of feeling fuckin' awesome. Then, there's Bad Wolf where something in there just gives me the shakes.

Evolve, on it's own, has done very little to nothing for me anywhere, with anyone. I don't know what the fuck is up with that. Ah well.

I thought nothing affected my wife. Not true, apparently. AV she's my maid-for-hire, GOA and Escape The Friend Zone give her patience and "kindness on loan," lol - sexuals do nothing, zip, nada. Cops definitely put her on high-alert with me.

Anyway, it's one of the reason I like owning multiple products. If something doesn't do something well on it's own, I throw something else in with it. Then I play optometrist. "Better or worse?"

It's always been a small town. Sadly, it's now a small, exclusively-white town. I tested XiSt around all kinds of races and never got any results that impressed me. S.O.B. is exclusively negative results - again, I don't doubt that you and others got good results from the product, but what exactly differentiates it from its competition? No one can seem to answer this question. Compare it to DP if you will, and you may see where I'm coming from. It's true that, at 19, most Androstenone-based mixes will work poorly on me, but a well-buffered (not overbuffered) product will serve you well at any age. DP and Primitive, for me, are those products.

My point is, regardless of what you might think, PXS can do much better than this. I know this because I know what kinds of molecules they have to play with, and how to mix them. This isn't top-notch quality - I shouldn't expect anything less from PXS. Steve is a great guy, but his mixes are a long shot from LAL or Apex. I'd love to be proven wrong, though. By all means, stick to what works for you. We'll have to agree to disagree when it comes to PXS.

Though, I have to say, PSE shows great potential - I need to give it a proper test run here soon.

I forgot about that mix...it made its way slowly but surely to the back of my shelf. I'll have to pull it back out. Thanks for the reminder. Idea

Erox - Never worked for me.

Arouse Rx - My first mone, never worked for me.

SXD-9 is subtle for me....Probably seen the least response compared to the other LAL products.

I have products work beautifully one day and nothing the next time I wore them. The funny thing is that the day after a mone application is sometimes a lot better than the day I had it on.

I tried Bliss today for the first time and I couldn't feel the effects. That said, PXS products usually show very strong effects when I wear them (Ascend, Cohesion, Evolve, and Connections). I imagined that it would hit me like Core does, but it's only been one day, so we will see.

I really think that it depends on the day, the person using them, and many other factors. I remember getting boobed hard with AV on, but the lady looked like a robot shark doing it.
