A lot has been said about the aversion of Asians to androstenone. After using this product around Asians, I came to some opinions and ideas on this. Lest I be accused of making generalizations, let me say that this is only my personal opinion based on my observations.

My usual mix is composed of a social, an androstenone heavy product (Evolve, AV, Lucky 7) and an androstadienone heavy blend (Cohesion, pure A-1). I tend to put more emphasis on androstenone when wearing my mones, hence, theoretically, fellow Asians should be avoiding me.

I am around Southeast Asians and East Asians all the time. I also frequently mingle with South Asians, as well as Caucasians and African-Americans.

I have had a lot of stares, IOI's and interactions from my fellow Asians while wearing my mones. In my journal, I mentioned an incident where a young Japanese lady was staring doe-eyed at me while I was wearing AV. The cute bank teller I mentioned in my journal while I was wearing Evolve is of Chinese descent. This morning, I went to a bank where all of the staff are Chinese or of Chinese descent. There was a lot of smiling, greeting and joking between us.

This may not be scientifically measured, but I think that the reason why people believe that Asians have a perceived dislike for androstenone is cultural. In Asia (at least in my part of the continent), we are raised to avoid being haughty. For example, when one becomes a valedictorian in school, one does not gloat about it, and instead attribute it to "good fortune," "luck," "heavenly blessings," or a myriad other reasons. If one is asked how much money he makes, the usual response is "just enough to live comfortably" instead of saying "I make a lot of money."

Therefore, when Asians (especially girls) get a sniff of androstenone, and turns her head away, it doesn't mean that she is repulsed by the scent. She is attracted to it, but social norms and conservative customs dictate that she should not show that she's interested in the wearer, lest she be branded as a "slut" or an "easy girl." In such a case, it is not only the girl, but the whole family that would would be embarrassed or lose face. This may be why the addition of social and comfort mones make it easier to approach them. While some Caucasian girls greet people with cheek kisses, hugs or handshakes, most Asian girls just say "hi", look downward and smile (sometimes inwardly). Bedroom and personal privacy on sensitive matters, as well as private space between opposite sexes, is important to Asians. Seldom do you hear new brides discuss their honeymoon with their mothers.

As for men, it has been touted about that Asian men produce less androstenone. Hence, if this is true, any aversion to androstenone probably would be due to their feeling that the wearer is an arrogant and aggressive fellow.

Most Asian cultures are very friendly, submissive to authority and hospitable, but they do react strongly once they reach the breaking point. It is here where sharing and helping is a custom and a tradition. Aggressiveness and arrogance is anathema to Asians, and they tend to avoid those whom they subconsciously feel would try to put one over them. Therefore, I think that it is not androstenone per se that repels Asians. It is the dictates of culture and tradition that makes Asians react the way they do to androstenone.

Just my 2 cents.

Interesting. You bring up interesting points about this being more a cultural view Of individualism. Asians are not permitted to act freely upon their emotions like other cultures do. Theyre more uptight about sex so none would create conflicting emotions that would make them uncomfortable.

Interesting article about sex ed views in china

http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/20...oblem.html

My parents never display any physical affection to each other. Dont know if this is true for all asians but ive never seen my parents hug or kiss.

I think its part of the big picture of what people are used to.

So true. In my country, sex-ed is now taught in schools due to a law passed just a few years ago. I'm still uncomfortable discussing the birds and the bees with my kids even though they're old enough to understand. I myself got ideas about sex from friends I hang out with and porn movies that I used to secretly watch.

I think that androstenone would create conflict in the sense that the "heart" know that it is attracted, but the "brain" says you can't act on it because it's not proper. "Other people are looking. What would they say? How would your parents feel?" would be what the mind will say. A lot of times, emotional relationships are initially hidden from parents and the boy/girl tries to find a good timing to broach the subject. Although times have changed and a lot of Asians are more open, I believe that a vast majority is still on the conservative side. I see this especially when I visit far flung towns and provinces that have not been touched too much by modernism, although there are still a lot of "conservatives" in cities.

I agree with a lot of what you said, Mars82. I'd like to add what a lot of Asian women like most in a man is a good provider, not a sexy person, so androstenone might not be the best way to attract them.

My thoughts !

and that this discussion does not run in the wrong direction !

AV does contain only minute amounts of None if any amount of none ... it contains TAL; P80; Androsterone, Epi-Androsterone; and Androstatrione;

that's my personal opinion .just to make this clear ..

Lucky 7 ... not tried ...

Evolve contains a noticeable amount of None but is good buffered ... i do not want to say more or otherwise i will be accused again to be a liar etc ....

Well .. get yourself some None and play around with it and you guy's will see it with our own eyes ...

AND

Blondes and Asians react to similar products .. just a hint ...

intimidation can be created with other stuff than Androsterone and None as well !!!

A-Androsterone is beta like hell if you use it as a single ... go there try it .. you will see ... the combination with other stuff makes it what we think what it is ...

Many things that are thought to be well known in the community do not seem to be true anymore if you start yourself some proper testing ....

and YES ... Asians and Blondes do not like None ... you can buffer it as good as you want ... ( sure there are some exceptions )

None is cheap ... Androsterone is cheap ... try it .. do some single molecule testing ... it will open your eyes ...

Pago. You always have extremely perceptive insights.
Ive shied away from heavy none products until recently. Evolve and New Pheromone Additive have been a blast to use.

Thats interesting that you feel theres androstatrione in av. That would definitely give high status. Damnit pago i need to get av. Lol.

Youre right. A lot of things are commonly accepted but how true are those notions?

my wife is half asian. and she can smell mones a mile away. unless i put them on my arms, no good on my neck, when i wear cohesion xs she get very touchy feely and shows more affection.. just my 2 cents worth .

Unless androstenone gives the vibe of a rock solid man who can be a good provider. If given the opportunity, most ladies would rather go for the king or prince than the goatherd. It is not that Asians are materialistic. It is just more practical down the line. There is also an Asian custom that when you marry a person, you also marry his/her family.

You just reminded me to top off my dwindling supply of AV. Thanks for the analysis of the contents of AV. Now I know what it contains. Nice insights. I have been getting nice results with Androstenone, either Evolve alone or the others with a social and A-1.

Mars82 ...

what i wanted to say is that you did NOT get nice results with None because the products you use are containing something different what they claim to be !

get some pure None play around with it and you will see ...
