Another oxytocin study

Quote:A nasal spray can make men more in tune with other people's feelings, say a team of German and UK researchers...
It supposedly can make men almost as empathetic as women and learn more from positive feedback.
Quote:...Writing in the Journal of Neuroscience, the researchers said the spray may be useful for boosting behaviour therapy in conditions such as schizophrenia.

Few people seem to understand that researchers are using nasal delivery of the hormone; just as insulin delivery used to be done. Neither insulin nor oxytocin is a pheromone so far as I know. Perhaps someone can point us to the scientific literature that says oxytocin is a pheromone. All I remember seeing is marketing claims.
