Does anyone know of any good software for running a business, keeping track of priorities, and generally organizing a company without a lot of manual data entry?

I feel kind of old school using pens and paper to keep track of everything and everyone, and I think it is time for an upgrade. Plead help me out with some suggestions if you can.

Thanks everyone,

Chris

Use Quickbooks, Results.com, or Salesforce

@Chris -

The Quickbooks online may be the lowest barrier to entry, since you don't have to be on a single computer with the software installed to work it and it is very well-established and fairly easy to set up across a broad range of market verticals including Point of Sale which should translate into e-commerce fairly easily.

Get a bookkeeper (not a CPA, just a bookkeeper from a CPA firm you trust/work with) to come and organize your biz in the software, whichever package you choose.

I went through this process with a friend who became a business manager with few skills and the training and advice from the CPA firm was invaluable and boosted her confidence to the top! Salesforce can be very expensive and consultants make beaucoup bucks setting up business in Salesforce. And Salesforce may not fit your business model, but drive it into the Salesforce-supported model, which may or may not be desirable.

We have in my city a business development non-profit staffed mostly by retired business professionals, and they volunteer their time to do exactly this sort of thing - help small businesses leverage their collective years of wisdom to get business owners where they need to be quickly and with as little pain as possible. Their incentive of course is increasing the tax base for the city by fostering viable and profitable businesses, but you can't beat the dedication of volunteers! Ask the Chamber of Commerce directly if such an organization exists that could be of assistance, it may save a lot of googling and fretting over decisions!

Hope this helps! Loving the L2K!

Homebrew - D3, Pregnenolone, 7-Keto DHEA

I suggest you contact Amara instead of Chris regarding orders, i tried contacting Chris at first but never get a reply from him. When i forwarded to the email to Amara, she replied promptly sent the replacement on the same day. Thumbs up for AD.

I was just thinking to myself the other day whether or not the estimated time quoted on Alpha Dreams website for shipping to Canada includes the anticipated processing time before the order is shipped out. Says First-Class International (14-25 days).

Order was made on the 8th, in processing for the 9th, shipped out the 18th. So would it be 14 to 25 days from the 9th or the 18th? Unknw

From the 18th I'd say as that's the time it takes for the postal services.
