I'm trying out BAM! today in the Sugared Vanilla & Honey scent.  I don't like the scent too much.  Plus, I think the b-nol smells a little uriny, which is kind of distracting.  Self-effects are good though.  On my way to work, I felt calm and even cherry, but not in a bubbly way.  More of a contented, satisfied pleasantness.  I paired this with Love Potion Red, but I can't smell it much.  I will try layering it on top of BAM! so I can hopefully get rid of that uriny smell.

I wanted to test this combination out before I see my TG tomorrow.  I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

Funny that you mention the BAM smelling badly. I wear Like A Magnet quite often in the original Vanilla Honey scent, and I tried BAM, but I thought it smelled horrible. I traded my bottle of BAM off post-haste. Isn't that odd?

Does Beta Androstenol smell worse than Alpha Androstenol?

I found that my b-nol from Androtics in coconut vanilla smells pretty bad as well, and it's hard to cover.  That's why I don't wear it much.

I have tried BAM in Vanilla Honey & Sandalwood Resins - both smelled icky.
I have and like Like A Magnet in Vanilla/Honey & Pink Amber - those don't smell nearly as bad. I think maybe Beta Androstenol just stinks worse than Alpha Androstenol.

But I wore lots of Instant Honesty and never noticed it smelling that bad....maybe the combo of Beta Androstenol and cops is nasty.

I still kick around the idea of trying the Brown Sugar Spice version of BAM...just because I never like to admit defeat.

LOL!  I know!  I want BAM! to work for me because the combo of b-nol and cops sounds so good and right up my alley. Well, I'm going to just cover my Vanilla/Honey version with Pink Sugar for now.  If I like the way it works, I'll order another sent once I run out.

To me, it does. I have had straight unscented A-nol and B-nol, and thought the B-nol has more of a "phero" scent, if you know what I mean.

I would not say it smells worse then Alpha Androstenol. It depends really, everyone has a slightly different perception of scent.

To me Alpha Androstenol smells like dirty feet and I could never wear it uncovered, Beta Androstenol smells less dirty to me, more musty for lack of a better word. I have both Bam and Like A Magnet pink amber and while they do smell different from one another I like them both.

Dont be quick to blame the Beta Androstenol, While androtics knows a ton about pheromones and mixing, I find they dont know much when it comes to scents. The coconut vanilla is nasty no matter what if you ask me.

Come to think of it, I got TAF in coconut vanilla, and it smells strange as well.

Last Friday, I used ample amounts of BAM! (b-nol and cops) with some Love Potion Red and OCCO Red Shield (scented cops). Overkill, maybe. I just wanted to cover up the "uriny" BAM smell.

So I went rock climbing on Friday, and the one thing I am starting to notice about b-nol is that it tends to make people around me less inhibited with their words and attitudes. In fact, my TG got irritated with me over a particular thing I wasn't doing right while attempting a climb. Then he brought up this topic about who has it harder in attracting a partner, men or women. He has very decided views on this topic. I was just surprised that he brought it up with two women he's been hitting on (another lady and myself).

I also wonder if the abundance of cops brought out some "neanderthal-like" behavior. We were just all sitting down taking a break from climbing when this regular out of the blue tackles my TG and they have this wrestling match right in front of us three ladies. It was kind of cool, actually. I also noticed that my TG seemed to be displaying more aggressive risk-taking behavior like hanging upside down from his harness on the way down from one of his climbs (showing off) and just in general acting more stereotypically masculine. Not sure if the cops had anything to do with this or not. I've never worn cops rock climbing before.
