Well I don't know about magazine advertising, but I can tell you that radio advertising pricing has gone through the roof, and Morning and Afternoon Drive times have now been changed to a single Drive Time running from 6:00 AM through 7:00 PM.  Most stations here in Dallas are getting around $250.00 for a 30 second weekday, daytime spot.

And, when advertising costs go up, the advertisers have to raise their prices too.
