Well since its oil and your using it with lotion you will probably need more since oil diffuses slower and lotion weighs the molecules down a little. It still may be a good value for your money though. It depends on how much you normally need to use. I use a lot so it may not be for me. I would think the love potions would absorb into the lotion better then the alcohol version. On the skin it dosent absorb at least on me totally but its not greasy or anything. If you have dry skin it will absorb good.

That does sound yummy. I love all things pink sugar. Like SK I have mixed Essence of Woman in my lotion to. Usually I just put a glop of lotion in my hand and add half a dropper full or so depending on the scent and the effect I want and then mix it with my finger and slather it on. I do have a few lotions I made in small containers with the Essence of Woman right in there. My hubby sneaks my lotion though so I have to be careful. LOL I am beginning to think he is a closet bath diva. LOL

I like Like A Magnet and Blatent invitation. I have the the honey and cops they first came out with. I think thats what it was and it works but I dont like the scent of that one. Blatent invitation is smelly but it works the best out of the oils for me. Its easy to cover though. I am looking forward to trying some of the others soon.

What scent did you get your Like A Magnet in ? I have amber and it does smell great.

Tisha - you must try Like A Magnet Pink! If you are a pink girl....tis pretty..oh I see I bet you already have Like A Magnet Pink Amber. My next buy is BAM Pink.

I like Like A Magnet original the best (Vanilla Honey I think it is).

I haven't tried the OCCO (heavy cops dose in strong cover perfume) b/c I just use my cops neat - I'm so old school. GASP! But I am sorely tempted...

I'm putting some Essence of Woman in my Pink Sugar Cookie lotion tonight! Yum!

I have to be careful with my Love Potion's too - DH will try anything. He slathered on Neanderlicious once - which has TAH and cops. Hell it smelled pretty good on him...hahaha

The OCCO blends are great. More cops that Like A Magnet, but less than straight Essence of Woman . cops with a great scent, what more could you want?

Oh! I just assumed the Love Scent Essence of Woman was an oil because of the dropper ha I was picturing the alcohol as a spray! Now I know to check out the ingredients to see if it is oil based or alcohol (or a mixture like I saw on the Love Potions site ). Thanks for clearing that up for me! :red face: I am going to make an order soon and will let everyone know how it goes!

The info I found on the Love Potion message boards say that the oil-based Essence of Woman dries down more quickly and does not have as "sharp" a smell as the Love Scent alcohol based Essence of Woman ,

And that you do still need to wait, but more like 5 min, before you apply cover, and that the Love Potion oil-based perfumes cover it extremely well.

Well the "sharp" smell of Essence of Woman in alcohol is that vinegary smell that I attribute to fatty acids in alcohol - it dissipates pretty fast but I guess if you make the mistake of huffing too soon it's pretty nasty.

Oil-based Essence of Woman , at least in the perfumes I have with it, smells basically the same, but without the "lift" of vinegar that the alcohol gives it as it evaporates...does that make sense? After all, they are the same formula.

Diane's cops I have in oil too, and hers have a quick vinegar tang at first, but seem to warm up pretty quickly and at least my DH never fails to comment that he likes the smell...they seems...smoother...I guess.

I get good results either way, but I am not particularly offended by the smell either, which I know many people find atrocious. I was wearing cops daily, but I lost the self-effects from habituation, so I am cops-free this week. I like those self-effects for nookie-time.

So have you suceessfully used the oil-based Essence of Woman ?

I haven't tried Essence of Woman straight up from Stone. I do have Sandalwood & Resins Like A Magnet, OCCO Red, & a sample of Dianne's oil straight up. I don't find Dianne's unscented cops to be offensive, the TT actually likes it in that form. Although, when I was applying it & waiting for drydown. He sadi I smelled "skanky". He like Jouir De also, which I couldn't get past the civit 'stank' on.
The oil based cops drydown faster than alcohol....really?
