I stumbled on this at a conspiracy site (abovetopsecret.com) that I frequent and it caught my attention, so I thought I'd look into it a bit further.

Whether the treatment is valid or not I don't know, but that there is a patent issued for the process, that its been suppressed for 18 years, and that the patent holder has not really tried to profit from it and has published detailed plans on how to affordably build and use the device at home suggests to me that there just might be something to it.

In a nutshell, Dr Stephen Kaali applied for and received a patent (#5,139,684 Kaali & Schwolsky 8-18-92) for a process he claimed could nuetralize blood borne pathogens.

He also puslished an article describing: Lab test results showing HIV inactivation by electrical current.

huuuuuuh... interesting. I looked up both the researches and found that they are both at Albert Einstein and also found the article in Science News. I wonder why it hasn't gotten more support or at least more research. Beyond the conspiracy theories and the money issue, I wonder how the current would have on effects on our own cells, enzymes and proteins native to our body. If such a current would denature receptors on the AIDS virus among other diseases, it would make sense that it does the same to our own cells. Just a thought.
