I still haven't tested my DHEA that I botched while trying to filter out insolubles.

I no longer filter or strain, I just let the insolubles settle away from the intake to the spray head. This way is much easier and less messy. And it doesn't throw off my dosing calculations.

How could it? You're only going to loose a diminute ammount of liquid. But once the mones are evenly dissolved, any part of the liquid will have the same mcg/ml as calculated, right?

Lol. Good point Fly. What ever gets lost during filtering doesn't change the concentration, just the volume.

It's still a lot easier to just let the insolubles settle away from the straw. I recommend that method to anybody using supplements.

Another good way I found is to let everything settle out and then use a pipette to pull the clear fluid off the top of the sediment. It's like racking the wort for homebrewers.

Same here! Just dont let release the pipette bulb too quickly like i did lol.

Exactly! You can even use a normal syringe.

I'm not going to bother counting how many vendor made single molecule bottles I can buy with the cost of investing in one of those sets though lol

Hm. I could probably just borrow one of these from my lab. A micropipette would give really accurate measurements, but as the name implies, they're for very small amounts of solution, typically less than a mL. Maybe I will toy around with one at some point and see if it would even be useful, just because I can.

Yeah, even though i can get good results from using a simple syringe, i’d like to buy one of those to play with single molecules. Useful for accurately dilute mones that come in powder and in case you have to mix –None for example, you can grab very small quantities.

Nice pipettes by the way I often think about using such ones for realy small amounts! We often use such ones in laboratory! Another alternative could be a precise scale!
