I was thinking . . .

Can you dilute oil based products (I had aqua vitae in mind) in another oil like FCO or DPG, and apply that?

I ask for two reasons, and they are surface area and precision.

First - surface area. What I was thinking was if I diluted my yet-to-be-determined sweetspot of Aqua Vitae in, say, 1ml of FCO or even *gasp* veggy oil, and slathered it all over myself like lotion it would increase the surface area I was diffusing from. Instead of having a high concentration of 'mones on a few small areas of my skin, why not have the same amount of 'mones distributed over a larger area in a lower concentration? My left brain says this would be better . . .

And Secondly, precision. I have read sooo much about Aqua vitae on this forum, all 57 pages of the AV thread, as well as countless other threads discussing it. From all of this reading i garnered a sense of potency with Aqua Vitae, and noticed how little people were applying. Some people were mentioning overdoses at drops/inches where others were reporting results. From Two inches from a roller to three or four drops.

Then there was all of this hubbub about conversions, you did 15 inches, how many drops is that; 2 drops eh? how many inches . . . etc etc etc. Everyone wants to reproduce what someone else applied, so they can reproduce the effects. Seems foolish to me, too many variables . . . But I am going off on a tangent

Although the general concensus was 5 inches from a roller was one drop, there remains the fact that not all drops are dropped equal! (I remember reading in a thread Gary himself said something along the lines of 35 drops per mL from a euro dropper, 45 drops per mL from a bulb dropper, and hell if I remember what the inches from the roller was! I spent ages with the search function and could not find it again)

So in my mind, if 5 inches is a drop(euro or bulb dropper? is it a european swallow? can it carry a coconut?), the roll-on is capable of more precison. But not according to the reviews, It seemed 50/50, either they couldn't get consistant applications from the roller, or they had it down.
Then there are the droppers, dropper people have (in my mind) larger increments to work with, therefore less precise. 2 drops isn't enough, try three! What if the perfect app was 2.5 drops, or 2.25 . . .

So enough of my rambling. Could you dilute an oil based product (Aqua Vitae) in DPG so that you could have greater precision (smaller increments to work with). Just arbitrary numbers here, but if AV had 50mcg of 'mones a drop, and your "sweet spot" of the AV mix was 120mcg, you would have to over shoot it by 30mcg, or be 20mcg short of your "perfect application". But if the AV were diluted 5:1 with DPG you would be able to nail your 120mcg goal with your new "Aqua Vitae Lite" at 10mcg a drop. You see where I am going?

It makes sense to me that if the max natural production levels are
10mcg androstadienone
2mcg androsterone
1mcg androstenone

Having greater precision would be a good thing, particularly with some people saying things like "had to cut back to one inch on each wrist" etc.
