An alpha product is designed to repaint the wearer in the lights of an "Alpha Male". The interpretation of what constitutes an alpha male vary, but in general they evoke perceptions of status, prestige, VIP, control, leadership, command, demanding of respect, dominance, being domineering, etc. Mixes vary from laid-back rockstar vibes, to CEO, to brutish pack wolf; but they all seek to emulate alpha qualities in some capacity.
