Number 8 about blonde women having more Estrogen. Redheads and pain, but they get to CEO's in Britain.

We banter about this, but could there be a chemical reason why some people respond so strongly to mones and others do not? Why some don't respond at all.

There was also a Wikipedia entry on hair differences by race.

That is actually something quite interesting. There could be something deeper here, you may be right. It's commonly accepted that people of African decent generally produce more -NONE, so there could well be a link here as well.

I do not think it would be a massive "gap" between them but there may well be a link here in this. According to the article, eye colour could also play a part if you look at it subjectively.

I presume here that dark hair / dark eyes generally would be stronger genes and therefore could be more susceptible to pheromones, followed by blondes then redheads.
It is just a generalization and something I have not even thought of until today.

Anyone else have any other thoughts?

Social scientists have studied perceived attractiveness, and concluded that males tend to be more attracted to light-eyed, light-haired women.
And females tend to be attracted to dark-eyed, dark-haired men.

Not sure what you mean by "strong genes."

But do we know whether a certain mone will impress a woman who has more estrogen? Because I love me a blonde girl. Don't get me wrong, I don't discriminate, but a blonde girl's armpit looks better than a brunette's armpit...especially at 5 o'clock.

Regardless of the color, blue or brown, if it is a light shade, it is perceived to be more feminine.
Dark blue eyes or dark brown eyes are perceived to be more masculine than pale-blue eyes or light-blown eyes.

In my own opinion, light skin is more feminine than tanned brown skin, because dark skin can better hide imperfections like freckles, moles, and fat. So if a woman is thin and has flawless skin, leave it fair. Don't tan it.

If you're a man, however, a tan will almost always make you look more attractive.

I think that you have hit alot of nails perfectly on the head with this post.

Generally "lighter" is more attractive, at least to us and visa versa in regards to males.

Strong genes, I just meant that whole dominate genes that we studied in biology. When you work out genes for babies etc... But on the same note , they have noted brown eyes are stronger than blue which runs in line with the "strong" genes.

What would be hell out interesting would be to see if there's a link between genes and the VNO organ and/or sensitivity to pheromones.

LMAO with the armpit comments, made me crack up!

We do know that -none is much much more effective like the week before a woman starts her cycle, I am not sure , but doesn't that have something to do with a womans estrogen levels?

My strongest hits have been with blondes with almost every product and I'm black.

The Wikipedia article talked about hormone differences (probably slight) by race with and how it impacts hair.

It has been said that blacks have more testosterone which leads us to believe that blacks also have more Androstenone, but whites have more hair.

This intrigues me because I would think that more testosterone would lead to more hair.

So these differences might explain (to some small degree) why we get different responses base on our chemistry and the chemistry of those we interact with.

Must be honest, as you pointed out I would also think more testerone would lead to more hair. This would lead to higher -None levels if speculation is correct?

Now that is puzzling because blondes have more estrogen. NONE hits hardest a week before their cycle?

Maybe it could be that you have a higher -NONE due to ethnicity? Only thing I can think of offhand? If you are going -Androsterone -NOL and socials it could be effecting your natural -NONE in some way.

Interesting, I am bound to do research on this now. Lets try keep this thread going, its interesting!

Ok so I have been hitting the books trying to piece this all together.

(Not going to put links here but google the female hormone cycle)

This is what I have found regarding a woman's cycle
Week 1 (first week after)
Estrogen and Testoterone rise for these 2 weeks peaking, then in the 3rd week it falls sharply for the first half then half-peaks in the seacond part of the 3rd week. During "THE" week (lol), estrogen and testerone falls sharply almost to nothing.

Progesterone rises in week 3 and then also collapses during "THE" week.

If -NONE hits hardest during the week before, this means that it is most likely in relation to Progesterone. These are the functions of the diffrent chemicals involved
Estrogen : Impacts mood, optimism, brain skills, chattiness, energy , appetite, extroversion, stress and desire to find a mate.
Testosterone : Brain skills, impulsiveness, Libido, energy, desire for adventure, competitiveness and courage.
Progesterone : Appitite, cravings, desire to nest (make surroundings comfortable), desire for security.

This means -NONE seems most effective when woman have high levels of Progesterone. Which would make the nesting, desire for security maybe link up with wanting a strong male?
The Estrogen and testosterone levels run hand in hand, so in theory the -Androsterone and -NOLS should work best in this stage as they are at their peak extroversion, friendliness , wanting to find a mate stage.

READ THIS : http://m.livescience.com/8779-fertile-wo...y-men.html

It is about different periods in the cycle and how women rate male attractiveness. Progesterone therefore seems to be the link between woman wanting strong, alpha type males. Hence the -NONE close to the "THE" week.

This means that woman with higher Estrogen levels (blondes) should be more outgoing, competitive and higher a higher libido during the second week (This is compared to dark hair.)

That means taking into account how estrogen, testosterone and progesterone effect woman, -NOLS, -Androsterone and DIEnone should be more effective more of the time. However, -NONE does get women going even when they are not around their "THE WEEK". As we all know woman are always seeking...well Id describe it as the "Alpha gentleman", therefore this is fascinating, socials may actually do more for you than sexuals.

Woman want to fall in love, seldom do they just F***, they do but ultimately they want the "american dream with kiddies etc....".

Come on guys, put your 2 cents in here.....

Side note : This actually shows that James V Kohl, who advocates pheromones was exactly on the mark scientifically! He produced scent of Eros and what is in that? YIP, mainly socials with maybe very slight sexuals. This just makes me what to google he's research now....lol.

I found this chart to be useful in understanding hormone level and how women feel.

Day 15-21 is marked by high levels of progesterone and moderately high levels of estrogen. This is also a time of more impulsive behavior. I wonder if more crazy hits happen during this time period. The more spontaneous hits.

Thank you for the insight. If a women ovulates on day 14 of the standard 28 day cycle, I would think that she would be more receptive to mones then. I would only want people to comment who found the topic interesting, as you did.
