I love the thickening shampoo idea. You probably should know there is a pheromone that LP sells called Cougar. Stone Labs created it. It's one of my favorites. I am just glad I didn't have nightmares about that bug eyed boy.

Here's my idea for the mentholated conditioner...since so many people don't like it but some do...make it the conditioner for the clarifying line. With clarifiers you expect a more bracing or herbal or fresh type scent. Like I said it doesn't drive me crazy or anything and I am sure the men love it but for me the biggest problem is that the scent of the shampoo and the scent of the conditioner don't go together. One is rich and warm and the other is cool and astringent. It's the only product in the whole line that doesn't match up scent wise. A lot of women are freaks about scents too. Just a thought on how you could offer it still and also have other options. Is the color treated conditioner menthol too?

Halo! I like your thinking A LOT! Yes, the color treated conditioner has menthol in it as well. We'll be formulating new products in the future, when we do I may just send them to you to try. Not tested on bunnies but tested on halo's...lol

review from LV

I love LAID texturizing spray. It adds so much volume to my hair. I applied after my shower and went to bed, I woke up with sexy vavavoom hair! This stuff literally brings meaning to the phrase " bedroom hair " It feels lightweight as well, not sticky and heavy like most hair products. I received many compliments and glances from strangers with my sexy bedroom hair, courtesy of LAID.

Second review from TY, she's the one who is super sensitive and kinda freaked out the first time she used all the products together:

SECOND TRIAL: Took halo's advice and did ONLY the Luscious Locks shampoo (not also the LL conditioner) AND mixed it half-and-half with a regular shampoo.

Again had pleasant euphoric buzz right off (slighter than before of course) followed by about an hour of sleepiness Smile I was in a sleep-inducing (quiet, dark, noninteractive) environment/situation, so it was mostlty probably that.

After that...Women were a little more open, friendlier, I think. One acquaintance who is shy/guarded/snobby (I've never been sure which) was completely not that way today...was way too happy to see me...almost yelled "You look so good! it's so wonderful to see you!" Um I just saw her a couple weeks ago, which is much more often than normal, and I had absolutely nothing special/different going on with how I looked. I've known her for about 6 years and she has NEVER before complimented my appearance- in fact I've always gotten the distinct impression that she finds it subpar Big Grin
With another, good female friend, I felt surprisingly strong warmth and affection that obliterated an annoyance I'd been feeling about her. Granted it was minor to begin with, but still.

Like last time, also noticed men were friendlier, more open and chatty than usual. One male friend gave me a very long and overly detailed explanation of a mundane event, which is unlike him (he is not a small-talker & *definitely* not a rambler).
Another, I've known for about 8 years but, despite spending a lot of time together, we've never become good friends, because he's VERY emotionally "closed off" and doggedly keeps all conversations very superficial/small-talky- he gets visibly uncomfortable if you get into anything more meaningful than the weather. He's also EXTREMELY personally/behaviorally conservative - I've literally never once seen him flirt or even so much as touch a woman (including ones he's dating). Today he was all huggy and kept stroking and "fluffing" my hair (!!!!) Even when talking to other people, he kept looking over to stare almost robotically at me. Oh he hadn't been drinking or anything, either. There has NEVER been anything or even any whiff of chemistry between us before, let alone this relatively intimate and public behavior.
You know how some phero effects make the target seem hypnotized & they know it - they look like they feel they're being operated by someone else's remote control & you can tell they can't understand why they're acting the way they are and they just can't stop? With both these guys, interestingly, it wasn't like that at all. The hair guy did not seem to perceive how bizarrely he was acting, even though it was so extremely out of character, and so prolonged that others who were there who know him were openly staring in disbelief.
Both times the effect on guys does not seem sexual, not very or overtly so anyway.

Self-effects: has given me a lift of confidence bordering on snobby. Seemed to last about 4 hours.

So yeah I think this shampoo kinda works. Smile

2nd review from EP:

After using the Luscious Locks shampoo, conditioner, and mask for a while now, and in various combination with Burt's Bees Volume and Desert Essence Jojoba shampoos, I can safely say that: I. LOVE. LAID. I forgot to mention before that I think the packaging is really nice. I appreciate that, especially in a high-end product. And what's inside that packaging is excellent!

Since I henna my hair regularly, I don't always use conditioner, because it can just be too much. Well, Laid's Luscious Locks conditioner does NOT overdo it, and it DOES encourage my hair's wave and body, and IT HAZ MENTHOL!!! Heh. I love me some minty kick, and it has just the right amount of that, along with a pretty scent. It leaves my hair with a *lot* of life, if that makes sense. My hair moves easily. Know what I mean? Now that I've used it a bunch of times, I know that the conditioner doesn't build up and flatten my hair. Also, different weather conditions aren't as...challenging...to my hair when using Laid.

Now, the Luscious Locks mask is amazing, too. I followed directions and haven't used it more than twice in a week. It doesn't take much, and my whole hair gets a wonderful smelling treatment. Hair and scalp and myself are very happy with the results! Again, no gloppiness, just lively, movable hair. It feels GREAT. It smells GREAT. And it looks--this is going to sound weird, but it's a compliment--a lot like some face cream my grandmother used when I was really young. So this adds an aspect of affectionate nostalgia to using the mask!

The Luscious Locks shampoo is everything I'd want it to be. Again, happy hair, happy scalp, happy me. Smells great, works great, hair has volume, waves, and bounce. I just love this stuff!!!

As for the phero blend, it feels a lot like popularity potion feels to me when it's in Darling Clementine or Darling Catalina. Some Cougar feel thrown in, too. I notice more self-effects than anything, but it does seem to make people around me feel good if they get a whiff. I definitely feel happier and less stressed about things. A bit of I Am The Shit Let's Have Fun Here, too. Quite pleasant!

I can't thank you and Adam enough for turning me on to this stuff! I will order some as soon as I can. I want to get the men's body wash/shampoo for Matt, too. Gods, it's nice to be using *good* Salon quality stuff again. I can't wait to try their No More Headaches hair spray and the Fill Me Up, too!

Review from LB: think this should be the last one from my friends...

My take on LAID brand Hair products:

The Shampoo for women:
LOVE. It smells good, got many compliments on the smell, and it always creates a good mood. There is in fact mood enhancement for the wearer...I could smell it the next day after completely forgetting it was in there and notice an improvement in my own mood without knowing why...until I remembered.
My hair hangs in my face, so there is lots of exposure.
My youngest son responded very well to it (he responds negatively to Androstadienone and high doses in general, to the extent there is transmitter burn out so I am naturally careful) and this is great for me...especially since there are many things I cannot wear.
My partner loves it,has zero idea I used it and what was in it.
He was coincidentally closer to me on the days I used it.
Strangers were markedly gabbier than usual...I suspect alpha and Beta Androstenol in this formula.
VERY gabby.

Love how the shampoo made my hair feel...wish I had known in advance that this was NOT a high-lathering shampoo...would have respected that and not have used so much and wasted it.
Will definately use and recommend to everyone who will listen, lol.
Adore it.

The Conditioner for women:
used twice, wont re-visit.
Do not know if the Pheromones in the conditioner were positively enhancing my exchanges; the smell put me off and I needed more condtioning.
Will not use again.

Texturizer:
Definatly like the action of the texturizer. My hair is coarse and wavy to begin with, so its not something I purchase outside of trying it here usually....but I will buy THIS again.
It was not over the top and added just the right amount of texture. I have used JFrieda stuff that I will NEVER buy again (texturizer made my hair feel awful) in the past and this stuff blew it away.
The phero action was uplifting in nature, because I noticed I enjoyed using more (self-effects) and noticed that I recieved more compliments on my actions over-all on the days I used it.
Interactions were very positive, and I cant be sure because I often used it with the shampoo, but I feel the synergy of Pheromones (or double-dose in this case if they were the same formula) was a very postive thing.

Usually I am sensitive to synthetic phero-exposure both a postive and a negative way and so I will not use some companies out there because too much of a good thing causes health issues.
Especially around young children (too many people/companies use rediculous dosages over-all).
I did not in any way feel that dosages were too high in all of these products (causing headaches or irritability) but there was MARKED upliftment, so there is no question something in there works, and works well.

Hair Mask:

Liked how it smoothed my hair a bit. Noticed a significant amount of hairloss afterwards (could have been me) and although the hair-actions were nice, could take it or leave it.
I think this is more about my hair texture and needing something more specific to it its texture than it is about the mask itself.

I hope the review was helpful.
I hope the review was helpful.
I enjoyed using LAID brand and will buy the shampoo and texturizer again.
The hair-mask I am on the fence with (may imporve with more usage)
But the conditioner I do not like. With more conditioning and a smell similar to the shampoo, there is no question I would buy the conditioner.

Thank you so much for the opportunity.
I live in Tampa, hope to visit the salon sometime !
