I meant the discovery of new pheromones, new molecules, putatives etc. It’s always been the old none, nol, Androsterone, Androstadienone , est, p96 etc etc. I’m talking about a discovery that would take the pheromones world to the next TIER.

What were revolutionary products in their time? Think old AM, old L2k, old New Pheromone Additive, old M3x, old a314, NA (oil) and many others. They were all closers.

At the TIME of their invention there was NOTHING out there like them.

It’s a good time for pheromone companies to put time investment into research, as sales at this time maybe unlucrative for many of them.

Taking mones can even help you with the virus, especially for DHEA and some other 17-keto steroids there is evidence for anti-viral and immunomodulatory action. Maybe one of the reasons for the increased mortality in older people is the severly reduced natural concentration of these substances in the body.
Maybe that's the reason why Finland has significantly less cases than the quite similar Sweden (sorry Lukalv) and no casualties yet, the heavily supplement VitD, also a steroid hormon.
I take my daily 50 mg of DHEA + 2000 IU VitD + 100 mcg K2 as I did already long before Corona.

My biggest fear with using mones during COVID-19 is experiencing burnout or post day lethargy that could end up weakening my immune system and more likely to catch any virus and pass it on to my SO whose working from home and living with me.

There is no scientific study to support the fact that inhaling pheromones helps combat Coronavirus.

Also:

Vitamin D is not a steroid hormone. It's a secosteroid. The supplement form is not the active form calcitriol I'd like to add.

Herpes simplex cannot be compared to what is known about SARS-Cov2

50mg of DHEA is a huge dose. Most of it gets metabolised into other steroids - with a lot of variables into which "direction" .
Androstenediol obviously modulates immune responses. Might be good, might be playing with fire.

@ Paradox: You are right breathing is not the same as taking. The comment about taking mones was a rather weak humoristic attempt. To make things clear: I take the DHEA orals.

@ GoergeFocky: The dosage of orally taken DHEA is mostly somewhere between 25 and 100 mg per day so 50 mg seem to be a sweet spot, I'm close to 90 kg.

On Vitamin D there is a bunch of papers reporting the influence on the immune system from Diabetes 1 over tuberculosis, influenza, HIV, EBV, HHV, varizella and so on. Even the survival rate of ARDS (the state that cause the death in SARS-CoV is significantly worse in VitD deficient people.

Oh, and once the body has the Vit D3 it metabolizes the 25(OH)D and the 1,25(OH)2D itself in liver and kidney, but it doesn't need the UV-B radiation on the skin. At least that is how I understand it.

It's like using pheromones to attract women. There are so many variables involved. Are Healthy people who take supplements protected or is it just the fact that they have a strong immune system?

Maybe the water you are washing down the vitamins with is not good?

The tap water in my area has Bromodichloromethane, Chromium (hexavalent), Dichloroacetic acid, Trihalomethanes (TTHMs) and Trichloroacetic Acid. So if I take vitamins and a glass of water....

In principle you are right, the dose make the poison.

However I see men as great apes evolved in the sunny open East African savannah. Most authors agree that the northern hemisphere inhabitants, especially in high latitudes are D deficient. And you can test it for a couple bucks, what I did. So it will not percent an infection, but maybe make it softer.
