People smell things differently and idk I love the smell of mine. Ita not Spicy bit it is delicious and unique. Nothing like cheap perfume that people describe about regular impi.

I will email them as well. This whole thing is puzzling. Av - I don't think there is foul play here. Just confusion. There's nothing spicy about the scent I have. That's the point. It's a different product from what others have described.

Yes, I agree with this statement as well. I made a comment about this, and Thundr replied to my thread saying Impi Red for some reason has different results compared to the other Impi dots, including the Original. The bottle I have is in fact the clear square bottle as mentioned because apparently the manufacturer changed the bottle for only Impi Red, while the other Dots still are in the canister metal container. However, the smell is somewhat smooth and light, not spicy peppery or cinnamon-like as Thundr and others have posted in the past....

I emailed Tammy as well as Bruce, but haven't heard back from them yet....Tammy did say she will check with the manufacturer, but never responded back.

I honestly feel that there's no foul play either, but since Love Scent is the US cell for Lacroy, perhaps the manufacturer is sending them the wrong thing labeled incorrectly....but all I know is, for a fact, without a doubt there is NOTHING spicy, cinnamony, or peppery about the bottle they sent me.

Mine, which for the longest time I struggled to get work, never smelled like Thundr described, I also equated the scent to Ammo from Androntics. I like the scent, it is masculine.

I have been tinkering with my 'Red Dot' since I read that Thundr loves it. And I have been keeping up with this thread.

Honestly, I never figured it out without everyone's input. I am glad AV made this thread. A few caveats about this product from my testing, although limited due to my blind ignorance of the product should have some skepticism, but I have tested a bit of my bottle.

I found is was social and comfy to women. They would open up to me and compliment me with this on. I also noticed it did not work right away, but after a few minutes I almost always get a compliment. Most often on what I am wearing. Kind of that girlish light compliment they would give you in middle school. Innocent attraction. Not sexual to me what so ever.

Whom ever posted the old ingredient list made it make sense to me. Social, light Androsterone and None, and the Secret Ingredient. Not heavy on Androsterone or None, because I have gone up to seven sprays to see 'something' happen, but never get in your face attraction, it does build - gradually for me.

I noticed this is great around shy girls or women who often would not normally open up to you.

I have one girl in specific which is my prime example for how it works. She is the best friend of one of my buddy women in his harem. His girl is young, bubbly, flirty and playful. My type of chick. You can tease her until she sleeps with you. Her friend, on the other hand, is more reserved and has an equally innocent vibe on her. I friend zoned both quick when I met them, which in hindsight was a mistake. On my quest to get a serious lady, many friends of my suggest this other girl, for posts sake Sally, is perfect for me.

I did for a period of time not speak to either because I keep getting my buddy's girl interested in me. One day I saw them and they were getting hit on by another guy, hard. Me being a good friend I swooped in and diffused the situation. A few minutes of light chit chat and flirting Sally complimented me on my shirt, went into detail about how it suited me well. I thank her, she blushed and went to her friend to text her friend sitting next to her, obviously about me. She then proceeded to tool the other guy to get him to leave, then she went on how other guys that I have seen her with are poser, fake, and not real men like me. Ten minutes in we were having a conversation and her friend, the often flirty one, receded to her phone to let her friend have me.

I did use five sprays of my 'Red Dot' which is the difference.



Now, a post about a product I dont have nailed down yet needs to have some juice, so I will share - I tried it with several products. A dab of New Pheromone Additive or two of New Pheromone Additive was nice, I got a more sexual vibe.

Tonight, I went out and had a bad day at work, and after browsing this thread I decided to run Impi, five sprays, two dabs of New Pheromone Additive, and Androntics MX 390. 390 is the Ammo scent of AD's 297. An Alpha product with steering molecules to make you giggly and happy. I never liked this revision of 297 and have a bit left, about two sprayers now, which are not evaporated.

Four sprays on Impi on wrists, one on Chest, New Pheromone Additive behind ears, and 390 at two sprays on neck, one on finger applied to upper lip. Now, monday nights suck, but I had to try it out.

Self effects for 390 are not as giggle as 297, but with this cocktail it was, I was hyper and giggle. Based on Pheroman's journal and Thundr's I knew I needed to CHILL out. I sat down but could not stop being animated.

What was interesting for me were approaches from men. Two guys sat down and chatted with me about non-sense. I ran into a PUA buddy and his wingwoman and the three of us chatted. I got up to move to chat to someone else, and a couple minutes later they followed. He was sitting on a chair, as was I, but he scooted to an angle to touch arms with me and he shared a load of texts with me asked how to reply. Major respect. The hostess gave me several free drinks through this time span as well. A barkeep also brought me a beer on him. This was cool, I was digging it. PUA's wingwoman started to ask me the normal questions, how old am I, what do I do, etc. She then gave some IOI's which she knew I would pick up on. Did I mention she has a fiance?

They leave after I blow her off, I get approached by another guy wanted to chat an shared all his cool adventures, supplication in my book. I get bored, and I ask him to leave. He soon parades his female friends around me to meet me. Interesting side effect.

The owners wife comes over to chat. She slowly leans in, pushed her breasts together and starts looking at my lips. I made a couple jokes that if she were not married we would be together and rather than playfully agree she ran with it and said if she ever got divorced I'd be the next man in line. I have known her for a bit, and she never referred to me as a man. Customer, friend, but never in such an audaciously aggressive way of man. It got so obvious her husband joined us as he saw she was digging me.

The self effects from the hybrid gave me a subtle carefree detachment, social grace, and the giggle arrogance I love of 297.

I plan on running this the next few nights, as I think I am onto something.

My issue with the scent it I have found it too strong for day time wear, but I will also sack up and wear it solo, maybe with New Pheromone Additive, to work.

I get the social element, I am social when running it solo as are others. Attraction is not as hot as people describe it for me. But I also get an element of comfort. I think that comfort is the secret ingredient. Just like New Pheromone Additive makes women lust for you and are okay acting on strange urges, I find in some raw way Impi does the same thing. This is not Dienone comfort, or L2K comfort, or TL comfort, or Cohesion, I could go on; it is a comfort socially with the leanings to make it more.

I will report back on both solo testing from work and with the hybrid beast. I quite enjoy this one. It blends beautifully with some products. I dont see any conflict with my testing. But I would not run it with AV, as New Pheromone Additive and AV are ferociously bad. None to AV is bad, but New Pheromone Additive is on another level of bad nights.

My experience is the same , both Bruce & Tammy unequivocally state that Impi Red Dot does not smell like cinnamon, spicy etc. Not sure what is going on here, as there a wildly different reports of what this stuff is supposed to smell like.

My Impi Red Dot smells like some generic cheapo cologne. Once you get a taste for some of the Creeds, Terre de Hermes, Musc Ravageur, Guerlain, Serge Lutens etc..., you tend not to like the junky stuff like Diesel, Beene, Armani, Versace & whatever this shitty Impi smells like etc...

Shit. The more and more I read this thread the more and more I become convinced I will never get the same stuff I like so much ever again once this bottle is empty.

I don't think there is foul play involved on love scent side but I do think there is a huge confusion about what impi red has been in the past. The thing I do disagree with is them saying impi red doesn't smell spicy. That's bullshit. There is absolutely NO perfume or cologne smell to it whatsoever. In fact when i put it on I smell like I work at a mc cormick spice factory. That to me was the whole appeal to the red dot scent. It was so unique and earthy that it appealed to me in an essential oil type of way rather than a cologne. Nothing I have ever worn stood out as much as impi does.

The scent to me was just as important to that particular product as the mones. I would even wear it without mones. I like natural smelling scents that are more earth driven than some eye burning metromale spritz.

I have decided when I near the end of this impi red canister I'm going to save a spray or 2 left and send it to Bruce with a note saying THIS is impi red. I wish to order another but if the "new" impi red doesn't smell like this then consider the impi line off my buy list. BTW if u can't smell cinnamon and peppers in this you need to get your snout checked.

Hmmmm maybe they changed the formula. Either way love it for what it is and would order it again quick fast.

After spending the last 10 min digging a bit in my own journal and scanning over impi red reviews from a yr ago it seems they came out with 4 scent packs for impi in the form of colored dots. 3 were to make it to production and one was scheduled for discontinuation. I would wager that the spicy red was discontinued over time and replaced with one of the other dot scents. Maybe the formula of red remained the same but the scent pack was given the axe in favor of something else.

It's funny to read the old reviews of impi when it first came out. Quoting here about remarks of the scent.. spicy, pepperic, outdoorsy. Not a single one mentions cologne or perfume. Yep they gave it the ole switcharoo on us.

All i have to say to that is SHIIIIIIIIT this SUCKS. Guess ill add this amazing red dot scent along with bodice ripper as being something I really liked and can't get anymore. Fanfuckingtastic.

Right, its not that people who don't detect a spicy, peppery smell are wrong, which quite frankly is nonsensical, its that we have two groups of people speaking about two entirely different scents.

Returning mine and hoping that Love Scent and/or Lacroy doesn't pull this type of bullshit again, unintentional or intentional I really don't care. Can't say I'm at all too pleased with their customer service on this issue for numerous reasons.

Ran it again today at work, the New Pheromone Additive, Red, and 390.

I got a big hit the first 30 minutes I was working. A girl scurries up to my station, gets her stuff handled, as she was leaving she have me a compliment on my glasses, told me I must get all the girls, and then wrote her number on her receipt and handed it back to me.

This time I used only one spray of 390.

This is magical men, I tell you this much for sure.
