Are you going to buy v1 and v2 or only one?
If both, you can get one version in black spice and the other in sandalwood. That way, you will have all 3 scents.
But if only one version, I personally would go for Black Spice. I have never smelled their version of sandalwood (I'm curious to try it though) but I have read that it doesn't last long.
Unlike t-rex, I prefer Black Spice over L&S but as you know, fragrance is a subjective matter.
I liked L&S at first but eventually got bored of it. L&S is "sweet" while black spice "spicier". I find it suitable for a night date more than L&S. On one or two occasions, I felt that the drydown have some level of similarity to L&S.

I agree with shadowX, fragrance is subjective. I have all 3scent and what i love the most is l&s scent, better longevity, about +12hours, black spice about 7-8hours, and sandalwood 3-4hours top.

I have compare armani code and black spice head to head, it definitely have same notes, but after 12 hours (test paper), black spice turn more sweet and less spice better than armani which stay the same. IMHO

I only have l2k v1. Get it in leather and steel, I personally believe that scented mones work better than unsceted. You can still cover scented mones with cologne of your choice as long as they don't clash. I've covered L&S with Aventus, Body Kouros, tobacco vanilla, spice bomb and many others d scents. Idk about this cut off thing. I'm 43 look about 35, v1 has worked on 18-50 for me. Don't buy both,buy one and ask for a sample of the other.

Today I was in the perfume store again and tested the Armany Code smell and its great.
It smell like orange to me, little sweet.
