I didn't see this posted here, so I thought I'd share. I was particularly motivated to research this because I read a thread where JVKohl was claiming that there was no scientific evidence to suggest that A-1 had any effect on women. But to be fair, that thread was from several years ago.

This table is based on a review article consolidating the findings of the effects of Androstadienone (Note: AND = Androstadienone:

   

I find this particularly interesting because it falls so well in line with observations from pheromone users (or is it vice versa).

The review also concludes that although most pheromones are traditionally thought to be detected by the VNO in animals, it is not so in humans. However, using PET scanning, it has been demonstrated that pheromones do elicit neuronal activity as well as physiological effects, but the signalling pathway is yet to be elucidated (at least for androstadienone that is).
