Shelly what a great great post about the scents, mones and evolution of one when using mones.
You put by words things I had randomly thought when I am almost asleep.
Fabulous! Wanna rep but I can't (must spread some love). Nominated*

Good strategy.

What Vendor are you purchasing the replica oils from? Have you used them before and do you recommend them based on quality and price?

I tried purchasing from Luxury Aromas, but frankly their service was very slow and I didn't think their replicas were very good.

I'm getting my samples from the fragrance shop. Shipping has been wicked fast. I've only tried one of the samples so far. I'm the wrong one to ask how they compare to originals, as I'm almost completely unfamiliar with most fragrances. But l can say that the one I've tried smells great, an lasted all day.

Hi Iceali -

I bought from The Fragrance Shop as well - Snoop recommended it - second on the fast shipping - all five duplicates I got in the first shipment are oil dupes of high ends edp or edcs I've owned before and these are either very close or exact - without the annoying alcohol smell.

Actually - on the Bulgari Green Tea - everywhere I went today - I got compliments. :-)

My Best,
Shelly B

I have been doing some light researching on the googles to see what colognes have the best smell and sillage. Silly me didn't see this thread. I wear Diesel fuel for life a lot but today was the first time I could smell the grapefruit note. I like Fuel for life because of the fruity woody scent that it has. YSL l'homme smells so good I used 7 sprays from a tester 2 on wrist 2 on inside of the elbows and the rest on my chest and throat. It smelled great but I was disappointed by the sillage, however the longevity of the scent on my chest was 15 hours. There was a faint but clear smell of Ysl on my chest it must have been heat activated because all the other spots had nothing left.

This is my test list for Colognes that I want to try

Green Irish Tweed
Aventus
One million
Le male by JPG
Terre D'Hermes
Joop (That's a fun one to say out loud)
Jacques Bogart
Fleur du Male jpg
Kouros
Montale Black Aoud
Montale Blue Amber
Azzaro Chrome Legend
Opium YSL
Montale Attar
Montale Red Aoud
A*Men (I think it used to be Angel pour homme but changed that not sure)

I snatched up a 5 pack sampler of men's high end oils in the the last 30% off sale at the Fragrance Shop for the man...should be here tomorrow I think...he's getting their version of Green Irish Tweed, Aventus, Silver Water, Millesime Imperial, and Kenneth Cole Black for Men. Nummy...with the 30% off - he got 5 for $21 and a $21 coupon toward his(my) next order. :-)

My Best,
Shelly B

I reaaally like the Aventus sample. Had some really interesting results with that. Haven't tried the others much yet. Think I'm going to try the Kourus tonight.
