Some have a high sensitivity to NNPA(androstenone) and it can smell like urine or even car piss. The product (oil) was also originally drawn together as an additive to a cologne bottle. Some users report the smell as being too much when worn solo. As most things, "to each his own."

I live in the Northern USA and the couple times I've been using it recently, I didn't smell anything fowl. I also use substantial covers, though.

I had the impression more modern mixes are buffered to some degree with other elements that take the edge off the pure none allowing them to use much higher percentages of molecules that would otherwise be overkill if used alone. Although there is the danger here as I'm bit of a newbie myself so offering advice is dangerous, as there is far more knowledgable on the subject than myself.

I can say that NNPA does indeed smell terrible solo. I used 2 drops and work and became very self conscious that I stank. I had to wash it off. The jurys still out on whether this product works for me, I tried doing the buildup routine but my social life didnt warrant such dedicated applications of nnpa every night. Ive had a couple of possible very strong hits from the 50 plus crowd, but I'm mid 30's :/ Might give it a blast tomorrow.

New Pheromone Additive, as its name suggests, is an additive for cologne.......literally designed for that purpose.

I like your theory,it could be like that.

To me it doesn't have such a bad smell. i kinda like it i also like the smell of glace, i mean i don't love the smells it just doesnt' bother me. But to others might smell like piss.
on one occasion i was wearing glace+l2k i sprayed alot (it was a college trip) and one guy who hang a bit with me asked me if i smell piss, and i said that i dont, and he said: are there toilets around cuz it reeks of piss (i knew he smelled me, but he didn't know that). that kinda scared me a bit, but i was still using it cuz hits were the best. He was very alpha, very tall, tanned, black hair.
i could not stand the SOB smell, that was terrible.

That's probably why it stinks haha.
Might try and use it properly next time, lol. I normally wear everything uncented and never had an issue with anything except scented ammo. But NNPA is a Real stinker, I'd rather dirty primative over NNPA for scent. Might try it with something retro like old spice. I'm imagining it could easy turn a complex cologne into something pissy.

Couple of things:

1- You might not smell any odor from mones......but other people can, so they might be avoiding you because of the smell

2- Old Spice (classic) is a cologne generally used by older men......like your father's age.......you've been warned

Ha ha. I am 40 and have often worn Paul Sebastian, Old Spice, and even Aramis. I have also enjoyed Black Soul Imperial, Gucchi Guilty Black for Men. Spicebomb too.

I really like stronger scents. If anybody has any suggestions for this, do let me know.

Switched from Polo Green to Supreme Oud around Labor Day this year.

Had two women taking turns sniffing my Supreme Oud, basking in my Manly Presence just last night in a parking lot. We were all standing around talking and they suddenly noted my scent.

One drop of New Pheromone Additive underneath. Not interested in either of them. But I will report if they act differently . . .

A few years back, people were on here reporting going unnoticed, getting "ghosted" at 3 or more drops. Thundr admonished me to not overdo it long ago.

He is good at this. Maybe he will be along and let us all know more.

What, OD or ghosting in 3 drops? Diluting 5:1?

I splash (since it´s kinda difficult to dose...at least from orignal bottle) it roughly 3-4 drops or more...before I start to get any hits.
Everyone´s body chemistry is different...
