dbot, check out what someone did for cheap centrifuging in third world countries.

The idea is great, but the application for today's labs leaves much to be desired. Our centrifuges, for this purpose generate speeds of 10,000 reveolutions per minute. That's not to say that an accurate measure couldn't be achieved at lesser speeds for longer times. But it sounds to me like someone's arm is going to get very tired.

Hi ,
This is a question for dbot our street wise chemist. I am taking Pregnenolone as a supplement and i'm pretty impressed with it's benefits particularly around memory retension . My question is would it do the same if i were to convert it and use it as a pheromomeDrinks

Heya Lazarusjj! I would think the effects would be a lot different, since the pheromone intakes are so much more specific. The pheromone effects should be caused by neno's direct steroidal properties, while the effects of the supplement should be mostly caused by its indirect pro-hormone action, because it converts into other hormones in the body.

However, if you search over on the PheroTalk forum, you'll find PheroQuirk's description of the pheromone-like effects that he noticed when supplementing pregnenolone, likely due to increased overall sex hormone levels.
