And here I thought it was just there to get stuck in your teeth...... I will say I do prefer a woman to have a little landing strip down there, Wood floors are nice too but there is just something about a little patch that is visually appealing to me. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a bush that starts above her belly button or anything like that, but a nicely groomed patch is great

Article makes sense but I guess something similar would apply to all body hair. Clean shave = microscopic wounds. And nobody is complaining about facial hair or shaved heads. We men stuff all kinds of foods and shit in our faces everyday that could carry pathogens and we shave around our mouth. Also partners saliva.

I think that if you are careful shaving and stick to trimming some areas instead, and keep clean daily with soap when you shower, there should not be a problem.

Not to forget that hair in these places developed millions of years ago to protect us when we did not wear clothes. Times change, we now have clothes, soap, medicine etc. Don't think natural selection will favor these genes the next million years.

I'd be a little skeptical of anything off of Alternet. Its articles tend to have a bit of a political agenda.

It's funny that we actually have under arm and pubic hair to spread our pheromones. I always hated shaving in those areas, yet they develop the most natural pheromones.

I only realized this recently in a discussion about pubic hair. It's funny cuz I use mones all the time.

I have been with women that have done a variety of different hair styles with their pubic hair, designs, dreadlocks, ponytails, Buns, bald, the Patch, tattoos, hardware.....I love it all

Can't say much about men other than it's 2014 and get with the program.....but not all the way, I have had more compliments than complaints at being trimmed but still a hairy chest.

Other than that....You guys will talk about anything when your BORED.....
