Hi everyone. I came across to this site by googling some no-fap threads (another cool thing but let's not discuss it here) and got interested in your forum. I honestly believe that pheromone products could work, I'm not sure how well but at least I feel like trying

Having skimmed some threads, names of the products and ingredients, I'm pretty concerned about the possible trouble at doping tests though. I guess spraying testosterone-based products doesn't necessarily mean it goes into one's system, but I don't want to take any unnecessary risks. It's offseason now and we don't have any out-of-competition tests, so I'd be safe at the moment even if I took EPO and steroids (not gonna do that, tho

) But let's say if product X works wonders for me and I don't feel like giving it up in spring, then it's trouble for me

Is here anyone with insights on this matter / some valuable links / etc? I also saw some posts about possible toxicness, if anyone can enlighten me about safety of the products, too, I'd be grateful.
regards, Jason

Many of the dosages of the pheromones that are published are in very small doses. Mostly in mcg's (micrograms). Many will go up to 50mcg content, but usually it doesn't divulge the exact amount. Also, the transdermal absorption could be real for any 'mones.
Shouldnt be a concern mate. You produce a lot of these mones naturally already.. Ur just altering your external skin chemistry for the most part you can say. Pheromones Are derived from horomomes but the amount used is so biologically insignificant for your body .

Concerns about 'mone use vs WADA type sports doping tests are certainly understandable and reasonable. Relying on assurances that it'll be ok from random people on an internet forum could be risky as it's your ass on the line, not theirs.
I imagine use of certain mones risks 'atypical test findings', especially for those whose urine samples have been used to create Athlete Biological Passports.

Everyone can come to their own conclusions but I don't agree with the above post
I have never seen this person post any information on how pheromones work on a biological level or any understanding of bio-chemical reactions but your advising another person not to listen to other people that do.
Dexter and Wiserd both provide Scientific articles to back up the claims that they make. James V. Kohl has posted scientific information on this forum. He's a scientist that studies pheromones and you can Google his name and find information on him
thundr has a degree in bio-chemistry but these random people on the internet aren't trust worthy because some other random person on the internet said so.
Oh okay that makes sense then
I wish the search function on this forum was better so people would be able to get better information when they wanted to know something

And such research is exactly why the OP might be sensible to be concerned about mone use and doping tests.
I'd also suggest becoming very acquainted with what are prohibited substances and methods and how the WADA and similar organizations do testing (
http://www.wada-ama.org/). Then consider their focus over the last several years on measuring and tracking natural hormone levels and ratios in athletes over time vs say ... mone products marketed to raise testosterone levels to help athletic performance (among other things).
Not too long ago I boxed. I have been drug tested according to WADA standards and never failed while using Pheromones. I also work for the US Government and never popped a drug test for any illegal substance. Zero concern here in my opinion.
Also several members get blood tested and drug tested to make sure phero's are not adversely effecting them. That was once pretty big to do on PTalk.
