I heard that a good quality of pure Oud, Deer Musk, and Ambegris essential oil are going to boost our pheromones uses scent to the max. Anyone with any experience with the uses, please Share.

Anyone know where to buy a good quality of pure Oud, Deer Musk, and Ambegris essential oil ?

Good Quality stuff like that will cost you an absolute fortune, the cheap stuff is just knock off shit.

Yeah man if you want legit musks you will have to reach deep into your wallet. Heres why.

Most old school musks like civet, deer, beaver and ambergris are now synthesized rather than harvested from live organisms. This is much cheaper and more humane "PC" for perfumers to use nowadays. The real stuff has all but been pinched out.

Ahh but theres the catch. Does a synthesized molecule act the same pheromonally as one constructed by nature. IMO no. But they do work nonetheless just not as efficiently. Maybe its some form of "tag" that mamma nature places on the molecule that makes it more natural.

More natural as in more believe able. Our own natural Androstenone is much more effective than the stuff we get from the labs. Bank on it. I never understood how "contains human pheromones" was supposed to be taken. Technically they are human in construct not collection. So yeah its human Pheromones made in a lab. Right? This has always perplexed me.

Lol how would real human Androstenone be acquired anyway? Strap some mesomorph cromagnon brutish male to an excercise bike and collect his nut sweat in a funnel for 3 days? In that case I will pass on that product.

Anyway back to musks. I did a bit of research awhile back and learned some pretty cool shit. I was curious about the way ancient times prized these liquids. No doubt the very first use of pheromones long ago. Without the science back then to back it up often these potion makers were considered alchemists of great skill. For who could brew a scent so fine it made the wearer divine. The ever present struggle for the classic love potion and our subconscious obsession with scent.

Most of the collection methods would be highly frowned upon during these modern times so naturally the demand goes up and supply goes down. Price goes way up. Way up. You may still be able to acquire most of these musks but grey area laws and heavy pricetags makes it an invested adventure.

I have tested most synthesized musks from stank ass civet to very light muscone. The only one that I havent tried is ambergris and that reminds me about a project I was going to start.

Ambergris. Not good at this but would describe the scent as womens skin, has a sweetness to it and somehow reminds me of a note in ISO-E super or maybe its similar pheromone(?) like properties, the way it lingers in the air.

I've mixed 0,8 ml white ambergris oil with 1,6 ml Nude Alpha.
I find scent last long time, even into next day. The ambergris turns bit more masculine when mixed with mones but also covers them extremely well. Sweet aroma, and subtle hint body odor like, but all blends in a way thats both pleasant and natural (IMO).

thundr, the oil i bought was expensive but today one can never be sure 100% if its the real deal, unless getting the stuff in raw form and testing it. I like the idea of your ambergris project.

I found this in Amazon. Don't know if it's natural or synthetic.

I think The Perfumers Apprentice has synthetic versions of deer musk.

With chemistry in general, the difference between natural and synthetic is generally twofold;

1. Living things often make molecules that have a property we'll call "Handedness." Your hands both have the same number of fingers. They're connected in the same way. But if you woke up with your left hand on your right arm, you'd know there was an issue. Synthetic processes will make both the natural type of molecule (the "right hand") and also the unnatural type of molecule ( say, the "left hand") The technical term for molecules that can have 'handedness' is 'chirality.'

Some molecules are like this. A "left handed" molecule will interact differently with a biological system than a "right handed" molecule.

Usually, the body will use one type of molecule and just ignore the other. But pheromones are weird this way. Both handed molecules are typically used, but they have different effects. Alpha androsterone is different than beta androsterone, but both are pheromones. They are identical except for their "handedness."

I don't think that molecules like civetone and muscone (heterocyclic ketones) can be left or right handed. So unless natural deer musk has some useful impurity we don't know about, cheap synthetic muscone should work just fine.

And sometimes, like with vitamin C, you get a molecule from a lab, but it has the correct handedness because it's based on a naturally occurring molecule (glucose) and not altered in a way that changes its handedness.

2. Sometimes synthetic molecules will have different impurities than natural ones. Those impurities may be good or bad.

I just think if we can combine that parfume with our Pheromones it should be a big breakthrough in the phero world.
I have been browsing on e bay a lot to look into it.
I just found out that a pure oud oil with musk and ambergris is usd 500 or more for just 3 ml. It was a crazy prize. Really curious to try that. Of course they were some cheap prize but we don't know if it is genuine.
Have you guys try Arabian oud brand ? They seems to have a high quality and a bit lower price as well.

I suspect that things like Ambergris or musk are natural pheromones. Muscone is capable of taking the shape, occasionally, of some of the pheromones that we use. In nature, muscone and civetone as pheromones over a much longer range than human pheromones.

Working on getting a handle on Oud. I have heard pheromone like qualities claimed for it.
