I think it would be very interesting if we could maybe find out what molecule belongs to which Putative from AD.

If you think we could do it, so lets make a listing in here =)

I honestly think that the closest anyone would be able to come is 'this molecule seems to act in the same way as Putative 'X''. I doubt AD will be very open about what putative is exactly what molecule.

I can speculate that P95 is androsterone because it seems to react in a similar way for me but I won't know for sure.
I also think that AD would not tell us whats in the Putatives.

Thats the reason why I opened this thread. Sarcastic blum

Together we are maybe able to determine it Smile

I heard that in P75, theres Adrostanone in it?
Many of us have some speculations on what the molecules are but the thing is even if we speculate we could never no for sure. They designed that way to stay on top.

What we need to do is what Snoop has already started doing, Get your hands on some chemically named mones and test them out. Then report on those as he is doing here with other like minded individuals so that we can can out from under the shadow of only the vendors knowing what these do like over a AD. Its OK to compare them to what you think they may be over at AD but its more important to give your opinion on what they do for you.

You can find a few vendors that sell raw unscented molecules by name. Love scent, Alpha dream, Diane's company, Paradise 7 and from what I heard there are a few more existing companies willing to head in that direction as well so users can test. They find having that information provided to them in a place not connected with any vendor is something that can really help advance their companies in the pheromone business as well as help the pheromone enthusiast. It didnt matter much over at AD, no one knew what they were testing.

There is very little user based information out there on what some of these molecules do. We just know what some of those vendors say or think they will do Not that there is anything wrong with that because some vendors actually use what they sell but you can never get a full picture of a molecule from one or two users opinions. To make a good mix from unknowns you need a lot of user feedback. Its why we see very few mixes out there today with molecules we are unfamiliar with. Its the accumulation of many users sharing information that reveals the patterns. We are all made different. Different genders, cultures, body types, mental capacities, races etc etc. What works one way for one person may not for the next. But there is always one of two common denominators.

We know what science assumes they will do as a pheromone but often especially in Pheromone technology because of the different pathway that the molecules are delivered to the brain the results can vary from what science expects. Its important to look and consider that information for many reasons but just as important to get a number of different perspectives from different demographics to get a clear picture on what molecules are doing pheremonally.

If we get some testing feedback of some of the unknown molecules beging offered Pherotruth can be a great middle ground for users, scientists and vendors to obtain information on what the actual consumer is experiencing.

Identifying the unknowns is exactly why this forum was started. We didn't like the idea that we would never know what some of our favorite pheromones were, and if Ad were to disappear so would some of our favorite molecules. Well, actually they would disappear, we just wouldn't know where to get them or what they were. Imagine life without TAA, P83, P74, etc.

We were working on a testing program to involve members in identifying and assocating results and effect of molecules by chemical name, and had even created a separate forum for reporting, but we had problems trying to put the program together and it didn't come to fruition, maybe we can do something along those lines at some point down the road.

The very reason I am so interested in testing these is so I can find molecules that work the way P83 in particular does. By far my favorite although I also really like a few of the others.

Interessting. So far i could not get anything from IS, TAA, or P83 :-(

P74 for sure works well =)
Agreed with what Tisha said above. The more of us who get known molecules and try them the more info will be available to make comparisons but due to differences in things like purity, manufacturing process, ect. it's doubtful we'll ever be able to say that P75 is androstanone. I'm hoping that as the economy recovers and the members here begin to be able to afford to take some chances on experimenting that we'll start to get a clearer picture, but I suspect it will always be a bit of a leap to compare ad's P series to named compounds.
The only way to know for sure is to take the moan sample to a lab for chemical analysis. And that will cost big bucks unless you happen to be qualified to do it yourself and have access to the equipment. So we'll be waiting a long time to know for sure...
Gents we have to summarize all chemical names and exact descriptions like on Liquid Alchemy
