Trying a new supplement called Basis that is supposed to help with DNA repair. Dark Lord wants to live forever....I've read a bit about the company and the company. I ordered a month supply to test it.

Has anyone tried either the supplement or one of the components.

Elysium Health

Product is called Basis and contains the components below.

Nicotinamide Riboside 250mg
Pterostilbene 50mg
I had a hypothesis some time ago that Nicotinamide Riboside could be the key, or one of the keys, to living indefinitely. A few of the members on Longecity believe it could reverse aging. This is no substantial evidence (or any at all, really), but it's an extremely interesting supplement.

I'd strongly recommend looking into C60oo for the purpose of life extension and DNA repair. I've heard good things on listening to Solfeggio frequencies (528Hz) as well, but most of the information out there is meaningless mumbo-jumbo from my perspective. Religious fanatics seem to love Solfeggio frequencies and diluting what little decent information we have on this subject. The promise is there - sorting through the information out there is more trouble than it's worth.
I have taken Basis for 4 days now and I can feel the energy effects. It is a very smooth feeling for me...I have read both positive and negative reviews for the supplement.

The people who have had negative experiences noted joint pain...I have arthritis in my ankle, but Tumeric with black pepper has done a great job of making that non existent.

They also took it for longer....So in 4 days, I just went about my normal activities and I feel more alert and my energy level is higher.

For some reason, my sleep is deeper....Although they say that it takes 4-16 weeks to note effects, I believe that depends on where you are physically when you take it...IE, age, overall health, etc.

My reason for trying this supplement is the idea of DNA repair and anti-aging...Specifically to fix some of my issues.
Niacin vs Niacinamide vs Nicotinamide Riboside

I have used niacinamide for months and it's great for releasing PUFA, as well as blocking cortisol release.........both can help with sleep and longevity.

It' one of the few supplemental vitamins that most people use on the Ray Peat forum, which generally focuses long-term on macro/micros from whole foods.

I have been looking, but have not found information on C60oo (tried numerals and letters in the search).

Living forever is the only way that I can rebuild the death star and return the Sith to their rightful place as rulers of the galaxy.

Thanks for the info, Darth Ekscentra! I'm thinking Darth E-Money for short and for the video.

Beware the Death Star, Bitches! We don't claim Kylo Ren...The First Order smokes crack and not the good kind either!
That's strange - it comes up in the first results for me. Try looking up Carbon-60 in Olive Oil. You should find plenty of anecdotes along with a small but interesting pool of research (link below).

Thanks, E! Tried to take a nap with this on and couldn't even sleep. Crazy at the stuff that is out there that people don't believe work.

I'll give it a shot after i have taken this for awhile. Might even add some resveratrol.
AC-11 and Oxaloacetate are good for DNA repair

I wish there was a good source for bulk AC-11. It ceased being available several years ago, and now you can only get it in small doses with other supplements, usually ubiquinol. Cat's Claw does contain AC-11, but in much smaller amounts. Resveratrol and acquoirin are also good supps for longevity stacks.

I added Resveratrol because I had a credit at the place where I buy most of my supplements.

The MIT scientist who works with Basis also takes Resveratrol. We'll see what it adds.
