Texas Lone Star Flag: a single star on a red, white and blue background. The only State that was an independent country before joining the union. The only State that reserved the right to succeed from the union when it became a member. Were we to succeed today we would be the 12th largest economy in the world, and at least as of 30 years ago would have been the 4th greatest military power.
