So Mara recently did a test batch of pheromone wax tarts for us extra special forum members. I must say be prepared for a glowing review
I got the following sets:
1. B2
2. Teddy BB
3. Perfect Match
4. Open Windows
5. Tranquility Potion
Do Not melt more than
1 at a time, or you
will be feeling uncomfortably phero OD'ed! I used an OW melt, than a B2 melt for my party last Saturday. I only invited my female friends & they worked fantastically. The Perfect Match is the one I Od'ed hubby & me on, and it made us clingy & uncomfortable feeling, fortunately that died down to lovey-doveyness as the strength diminished. Teddy BB completely irradicated my PMS. I will report as I use them more.

Teddy BB was the original Boy/Boy pheromone blend designed for gay men. B2 was the replacement when their original supplier was no longer available. Even though the blends were designed to target gay male consumers, they actually work wonders for soothing PMS & women like to use them as well. In my experience B2 gives more a of 'popularity' effect with the gents, I explained further in the review thread for it. Teddy BB is more relaxing to me, something I'd put on if I couldn't sleep.
Just wanted to note that these wax melts are for sale still. They are awesome. The G2 is fantastic for female bonding and also good for settling my kids down (all girls). I also love the Lace blends, A-nol, and B2 and Treasured Hearts is great for family events. Mara makes several different types with different scents. It's such a great way to try out Love Potion's Pheromones since they are really inexpensive. I plan on getting all of them at some point. I know wax melts aren't going to go over really well with the guys but honestly they should. Just think, you get major atmosphere points from the ladies as well as a nice phero cloud.

Just to wanted to add that I like the new wax better than the old. I have to put the my warmer bowl in the freezer & use a knife in addition to get them out (although you can cut them in half), but the paraffin tarts pop right out. Also these are huge, I usually get 4-5 uses out of one & it scents my entire ranch style, 2,200 sq.foot house.

Hi Halo & Beccah (and any others who may have tried these),
These phero wax melts seem fascinating. I'd love to know more about how these work and if you still find yourselves using them.
@ Beccah: When you say you can get 4-5 uses out of these, does that mean that the whole thing melts and then hardens again (like a candle) and you reuse the whole thing OR do you use it a little bit at a time (meaning all of the wax hasn't melted) until the whole thing burns out once (which equates 4-5 uses for your home)? If the latter is the case, do the pheromones still work; or do they degrade over time; or do they only work on the first full melting? I'm trying to get an idea of how many uses I can get out of one in my 200 square ft bedroom with my door closed (I share an apartment).
@ All:
-How would you rank any unisex or male ones that you may have tried? Do you prefer gender-specific or unisex?
-Is it a bad idea to be actually wearing pheromones while using these? In other words, how likely is it to OD if I'm wearing a modest amount of pheromones while using one of these?
-If you stay in the room (phero cloud) long enough and weren't wearing pheromones to begin with, when you leave the room will have your own pheromone cloud for a brief period of time? If so, does it go away quickly?
-If I use this in my bedroom near my clothes (I have a large cloth-covered closet which I typically leave exposed), will my clothes somehow capture pheromones & scent and keep them for any length of time? Have any of you had this experience?
@Halo: If Pago and other straight guys on this forum are open-minded enough to use I'Uomo Amore, then I'm open-minded enough for wax melts!
I have only used female and unisex melts. Things like Alpha Androstenol, Alpha Androstenol + est and G2 are my favorites. I reuse them but unlike beccah I don't burn them for 4-5 hours each time. I burn for a bout an hour for a burst of scent and Pheromones and then turn off. I don't think the Pheromones last more than the first 5-8 hours of burning. You do get a wallop of Pheromones, very strong. I walk in and out of the room I am burning them in and I am sure i have burned them while wearing Pheromones with no OD. But I do have a high threshhold for Pheromones. Whether or not they cling to clothes is a very good question. I suppose they do but at what concentration I have no idea. Maybe Mara will pop in and answer your questions better.
Yeah these melts seem pretty clutch. I already have wax melting all over my place for its peaceful serene scents and I would love to try some out that are mone infused. Just want to drop by and say a special thanks to everyone who's posted on here. You just rung my shopping bell! Now what if I wanted to buy some? Does Mara offer them to a newb like myself or does anyone recommend I try TP?

Oh yeah - no worries - you can buy them. Mara's are awesome - she's running a bit low on some scents now though so it's a get while the getting is good on a few...
