Mones V Placebo - theLaw - 10-17-2014 11:40 AM

After reading through several forums (Pherotalk, Pherotruth, Phero-forum, XS forum, etc.), I'm finding it difficult to locate any experiences that cannot be easily explained away as Placebo. Although I have found a number of scientific studies about the effects of certain molecules, finding evidence of reactions from aerosolized molecules is a bit more challenging.

So here is my question :

What effects (reactions) have you experienced from others while wearing Mones (any specific product) that absolutely could not be explained as Placebo?

***It may be helpful to provide examples that are unusual given a particular social context- like a medical professional doing something overtly sexual***

Thanks in advance for any info that may help me clear this up!!! Smile

Ask as33156 about the time a female doctor said to him, "you smell like good sex," and her nurse said, "I feel a tingle down there."

That post is in his journal so I won't quote it out here in public.

Take a look at hits and ideas. Very little placebo here my friend.

Why don't you buy some and find out yourself???

Hey Wolf,

I have actually, and every reaction that I have received can easily be attributed to the Placebo effect, which is why I am asking for other's input.

If these chemicals are ever going to be taken seriously, they must be backed by more evidence than "try them and find out", or "I noticed more people acting ______". Smile

When shes says whenever im around you , you make me wet...

Its placebo.

Hey Paradigm,

Thanks for the info.

This brings up an interesting question, because I've had girls say that exact same thing to me way before I learned about Mones. On the other hand, I have had girls that seemed to be responding to Mones when I completely forgot that I was wearing them.

So this brings me back to my original question about actual experiences that can't be explained by Placebo.

I'm wondering if there is such an "experience" or if peer-reviewed-studies are the only way to truly know that these chemicals workSmile

RE: Mones V Placebo - stefdude - 10-18-2014 4:33 PM

Most times the effect is just a boost, a variable.Statistically there is a difference but most moments, when viewed individually, a just a bit above normal, you could call it placebo, but in time you notice this difference. And there are some moments which couldn't have happened without mones, everyone has some.I for example got told, "why you smell so good?your smell made me horny and want to please you", I weren't wearing a cover, just unscented mones.I got a few more and I'm sure if you use long enough you will experience those too, it's about luck.

Alright Law.. I'll bite.

The first time I wore Aqua Vitae to work, from Liquid Alchemy Labs... this woman whom I've worked with for 3 years on a daily basis, says to me, "Wolf, are you wearing some kind of pheromones or something? Cause suddenly I've got all these feelings for you that I've never had before." Smile

Of course I blow it off, like, "What are pheremones?"

She's 15 years younger and built like a brick shit house. At the time I'm forty pounds overweight.

A few days later she pulls her pants down to show me her heart tanned on her ass... getting it right in front of my face.
Two weeks later, after being consistently exposed to me wearing AV, we almost have sex on the surgery table... only thing stopping me, was that her boyfriend was outside in the parking lot waiting for her to get off work.
I had worked with this woman for over three years on a daily basis and she never showed any hints of interest... until the day I wear pheremones.

Then the day my boss took me out to eat as I had given my two week notice. His daughter and her husband also come, along with their children. I'm wearing AV again... before dinner is over, bosses daughter comes all the way over to my side of the table and sits down, staring at me, like I'm the most interesting man in the world, eyes like a deer in the headlights... all the while twirling her hair --- Again, a woman i've know for many years, never showing any interest... and now, in front of her husband and kids, is showing a crazy interest in me - made me really uncomfortable...

That was just the beginning of my pheremone journey... since then I've had too many "hits' to recount

I also used it to my advantage at work not long ago, as I requested time off and was told No, in an informal letter. So I go to upper management, all women - wearing AV -- Again, lots of dilated pupils, intense interest, and hair twirling -- within ten minutes, I'm golden.

But the only way for you to resolve your doubt, is to buy some and check it out for yourself.

p.s.
I'm currently on my 3rd bottle of AV Smile

Hey Wolf,

Thanks so much for the info-much appreciated!

The one kink in all of these stories seems to be that the person wearing the Mones knows exactly what it does, thus allowing Placebo to be in full effect through body language, which may be completely subconscious, but no less effective.

So let me ask you this - If you found out that AV had absolutely no Mones in it, would you still use it to attract women? Even if it was Placebo, there is still a clear effect, even if you are doing it subconsciously.

RE: Mones V Placebo - kimosabe - 10-18-2014 8:35 PM

Not really true. We have a GENERAL idea of what the mones are supposed to do, but not specifically what they do WITH our body chemistry until we test them out.

For instance, I've tested the living daylights out of WAGG-N, and found that it does absolutely squadoosh for me. I knew it was supposed to make me more approachable, but nope, NADA.

RE: Mones V Placebo - RussianWolf - 10-18-2014 8:37 PM

Law,
No... when i worked in the veterinary field, and there were 15 sick patients to be treated, 7 surgeries to prep, a waiting room full of people and animals, a dog is brought in after being hit by a car, bleeding on the table while the owners screaming and crying and the telephone is ringing every 3 minutes... you don't have time to think about pheremones... you forget all about them.

But really, what you're doing -- is calling everyone on this forum an Idiot. And personally, I find it disrespectful.

Hey Wolf,

First off, I have not called anyone an "idiot", much less everyone on the forum.

Second, this is a "forum" where discussion of these chemicals are encouraged, regardless of someones's particular view of there effectiveness.

I can see that you and I share differing opinions on what defines a healthy debate, but I appreciate your info on this subject.

Best Regards,

theLaw

How can i have a healthy debate with someone who thinks I'm an idiot?

I guess I'm under some grande illusion... and I must be stupid to spend hundreds of dollars on placebos that clearly are all just in my mind... while the makers of these pheremones must be laughing their asses off at our stupidity...

I'm done

RE: Mones V Placebo - kimosabe - 10-18-2014 9:52 PM

Wolf, having re-read the thread, I cannot see where Law has implied that the forumers here are idiots.

In fact, he brings up a good point - 'what IF one knows the effect of a particular mone beforehand, and that knowledge then becomes a self-fulfilling placebo?'

I've wondered this myself on numerous occasions. Then, when I sit down to review my personal experiences, that's when I know that it isn't just placebo, that there is indeed something there.

I've also realized that certain mones work differently on me than with others who've reported on it, and vice-versa.

Hence my post above on the example of WAGG-N.

Another example can be found here, where other mone users suggested that I drop Wolf from the combo. I did, tested the resultant mix and concluded that it wasn't as effective FOR ME - the same point I alluded to in my WAGG-N example above.

Peace.

I think I know where Law is coming from. This thing also crossed my mind before I started with mones. Out of curiosity based on some readings I made, I decided to "invest" in phereomones. My first one was Nexus. Other than the nice smell, it did nothing for me, so I thought "placebo" as I sprayed more than what was recommended. Then when I took a plane and experienced a panic attack as the doors closed, I decided to do some more research as this was quite weird. I'm used to taking flights so there was no reason for the panic attack. Garry told me that it was quite common for people who are using mones for the first time. Other than this, I did not receive IOI's, Deer in the headlights, or any of the stuff that others claim to do.

After some more reading, I decided to give mones another shot, and placed an order with LAL, composed of NA and HS. Garry sent me samples of AV, Wolf and Lucky 7 with my order. Again, I didn't get anything from NA and HS, so I felt that indeed, mones might just be placebos. Interestingly, it was the samples that convinced me that my lack of results were not the indicators of the mones. It was the samples that initially worked for me. I was so convinced that I bought Wolf and received some more AV. From then on, I have bought some more stuff from Garry, Steve and Thundr. Some worked, some didn't. If it was placebo, all of them would equally not work. However, I noticed that among those that worked, the effects of some are different from others.

My journal is full of anecdotal "evidence." It may not have been peer-reviewed, but they have been replicated by me. Hence, I'm convinced that some of them work for me based on my body chemistry. I would surmise that those that didn't work simply were not compatible with my body chem.

My conclusion is that these are not placebos.

I'm thinking that if may be more effective to create a set of limited variables while testing to test a particular product effectively. An example of this would be to look at something like sales figures (if you are in sales) while using different mones in a on-on-one (or group-must be in person) situation, or cold approach pickup for phone numbers. Although it's still not proof, it's a decent place to start. Nearly all of the "testing" reports are a few hits among a large number of variables (location, age, range, etc).

Okay, does any of this placebo vs reality matter to any of us who believe they are working for us? Let the doubters doubt and continue trying to convince themselves one way or another. As for me, I'll continue buying and using products that I've achieved positive effects from, regardless of the reason for the effects. There's many things in life that can't be proven and that we'll never really understand, but that makes them no less real.

Agreed.

Yes, continuing to buy a product because of its perceived effects is all well and good, as long as we understand that Placebo is a real possibility until we have further scientific evidence.

I think that pushing for more evidence is always the best path for the evolution of any science.

As for doubters, having posts where "hits" (ie-proof that a product is working) include people looking at you a certain way from across the room (a common line in many posts), does need its fair share of doubters to balance the debate, as these claims seem dubious or irrelevant at best. I am personally always more interested in the "extreme" type hits where placebo seems a bit less likely.

Thanks Mark for weighing in on this-much appreciated! Smile

Very true .... I think the law made some very good and very valid points.
will we answer them? Probably not here..this is a forum for enthusiests/hobbiest.
we are already biased but so what. We do what we do. facepalm

RE: Mones V Placebo - Mars82 - 10-24-2014 12:53 AM

I have had many experiences with mones that I do not believe that it is just placebo. "Placebo" is only good for a few days at best. Consistent experiences over years show that the effects are in the realm of reality. Otherwise, I would not re-purchase mones again...and again....and again... Dang! these mones are draining my wallet.

RE: Mones V Placebo - Khan Solo - 10-24-2014 4:10 PM

Nice topic OP has brought out.

What about the self-effects? I more often than not I've felt the effects of some products, not something about "I'm more uplift" or "I feel sexy" vagueness. I can relate anxiety or "can't be sit down" using Taboo first time, I've been sometimes deeply struck with Cohesion or I've noticed lately more spontaneous openness from my side using Core (that one a more subtle thing).

An interesting experience was when I tested New Pheromone Additive going to sleep and I had a wet dream when I woke up at morning. Such a thing never happened to me before since I was a teen very many years ago.

When I doubt about the real influence I recall these experiences on myself and I have to think that they can affect people around, however I still have to work more on this and pay attention and take advantage. As many people says there are tools that needs some skills just as everything else that makes you more noticeable and likeable/desirable like a nice suit.

Still I can admit some suggestion or delusion when considering situations with people, after all the reality we experience is what we think about it.

RE: Mones V Placebo - Islandfun21 - 10-24-2014 7:11 PM

If I may give my input...

I believe its more Pheromone than Placebo. There were instances where I wouldn't even be aware Im on the mones and things happen out of the ordinary.

Take for example, I wore Overdose by LAL for a very long time if Im not mistaken. I had it on me nearly everyday. 1 pea size to one full pump dosage. I received more respect from work. My friends would never give me any shit, they'd tease amongst each other but not me. Before that, I would have already be involved in a lot of the jokes. My meals were paid for, drinks paid for, fees paid for by my friends. I didnt even have to ask. We were out strollin around and I saw a shirt that I happened to really like, I didnt bother thinking of buying it but suddenly my friend took it and bought it along with his other stuff and gave it to me. These things RARELY happened to me before I was Overdose. Funny part is I only realized it couldve been more than likely from mones the next day. I dont think about mones all the time when Im out, I just be myself and live as I normally do. So it can't be placebo at all.

Now that Im not Overdose ( need to reorder for use as a daily ), I dont get my drinks or meals paid for, at least not as often. I do take some shit more often than before I was on overdose but thats something I can handle anyway.

Placebo having a greater affect than the product? Not so much but still a very real possibility.

I believe that when mones are used correctly, its definitely a game changer towards your life.

Should do an expirement, one with people who cant smell them of course.
