Buy Essential Oils

There is a growing interest in using essential oils as fragrances and as theraputic remedies for everything from snoring to impotence. The medicinal value of herbs and other botanicals has been known throughout history. Essential oils are just a concentrated form of the botanical. A drop of peppermint eo in a cup of warm water is the equivelent of 28 cups of peppermint tea. I have been actively learning about herbalism since I was a child in my mom's herb garden. It was an interest in aromatherapy that lead me to the pheromone hobby. My Love and I use essential oils extensively, in our home, for ourselves, and on our children.

Clicking the above link will take you to our store front where you can purchase essential oils from us. The oils are produced by Doterra, a company that operates in a globally friendly way to produce the purest and best essential oils the world has to offer. OIls from this company have truly changed our lives.

If you have any questions about the theraputic benefits or ways to improve your life through the use of essential oils please feel free to use the "contact us" button on the website. Say something about pheromones in the comments and I'll contact you personally.

Thank you for reading and and for your support.

"A drop of peppermint eo in a cup of warm water is the equivelent of 28 cups of peppermint tea"
False, essential oils do not mix with water like every oils. So one drop of peppermint eo will never be the equivalent of 28 cups of peppermint tea.
Thanks for spreading misinformation that is greatly needed in that misunderstood area.

Of course DOterra is one of the most spamming company out there, It would be the last place I would buy EO.

And you could not clarify that by a polite heads-up?
But one point is true, EOs are what's left after all water-soluble components are distilled out of the plant. Tea is a watery extract. There are some traces of EOs in tea - but not vice versa.
So one drop of an EO is the equivalent of the fat-soluble molecules of a huge loads of plants.

In some cases like Peppermint, EO's and Teas have similar propertie, in some other cases they are vastly different. Pls don't take an Eoil internally just becuase you know there is a tea from the same plant. Some Salvias, Thyme and Spearmint EOs for example are not very becoming.

I've played with Sandalwood, Bergamot, Citrus, Lavender and a few others...Women have commented on the smells when i wear them...positively.

They are always interested when you tell them you wear essential oils...That is how I introduced the idea of pheromones to some female friends.

The short answer is no. They are not certified organic.

The oils are sourced from all over the world as a large part of the company philosophy is that growing location makes a huge difference in potency. Here is some "spam" Mega shok direct from our FAQ
myDoterra Wrote:Q: Are dōTERRA's essential oils organic?

A: dōTERRA's CPTG essential oils exceed industry standards. Because organic certification varies from country to country, province to province, and in the US, from state to state, it is not currently possible to acquire all oils under certified organic status. However, through the GC/MS analysis process, we are able to determine if any chemical residue exists in the essential oil, e.g., pesticides, herbicides, extenders, and solvents. With this rigorous analysis process, we are able to ensure that all CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade™ essential oils offered by dōTERRA are absolutely pure as nature intended and a step above organic.

Thanks Renny. I just purchased veviter thru my GFs place of work. Super excited to try it out. How long have you been using their products? The question that I keep asking her that she can't answer is this... What makes DOterra so great? We have other EOs from Aura Cacia and Now. She said it was the lack of cheap carrier oils in Doterra. I looked at the Now bottle (cheap product) and its 100%, no carrier oils. Clearly there are differences in extractions and sources of the oils. Is that the major difference? Paid endorsement aside, would you care to explain why you think Doterra is better than other companies?

This means nothing. The FDA does this all the time. It doesn't mean that EOs do nothing and Doterra is a scam. It means, to me, that Doterra believed so strongly in their products that they made "claims" that are "illegal" in a system set up for the powerful pharmaceutical industry. This has happened to lots of non approved FDA (racket) products. The further I go along in life the more I'm convinced that the FDA and the pharmaceutical industry want to really hurt you for profit. I've found dozens of ways to improve my life with out them, EOs is just one of them.

It's not that they want to hurt you for profit, it's just that they aren't willing to help you if there is no profit in it. They do not want competition and are not interested in curing you but more in treating symptoms and hooking you for life.

Exactly. The pharmaceutical companies are looking for customers, not cures.

RE: Renny's Essential Oils - ShadowX114 - 03-14-2016 11:54 AM

While I agree that companies shouldn't make big claims to the point of making someone with a certain disease or illness could strongly believe it and thus thinks that they are curing themselves without professional help, the whole "FDA didn't approve" means nothing to me. I don't take FDA as an authority anymore as I used to.

But anyways, Just a small testimonial: My mother has been using their lavender EO for around a year now and she likes it. She buys it from one of her friends and I think she's on her second or third bottle now. She uses it whenever she has migraine, when her joints hurt and the back of her neck/traps. Se tells me that she feels a difference within minutes.

I've never been one to bash somebody else who didn't bash me first. I can't tell you if another company does the same purity tests or adds fractionated coconut or burnt motor oil. I can accept that the other oils are just as good as Doterra and still prefer the way Doterra does business. One is that they have a philosophy called co-impact sourcing which means they accept that they have a role to play in helping the community they source an oil from. I'm going to post a link to a youtube video about sourcing Vetiver from Haiti. I hope that you will read the comments after the video because it talks about the pollution and erosion that companies are allowing to happen. I believe that Doterra is actively involved in stopping these practices there as well as helping the people who grow and distill the Vetiver EO to enjoy better lives.

I won't "spam" a lot of other links but if you want to look further please read about Wintergreen EO production in Nepal and Doterra's earthquake response. Please google other youtube videos like co-impact sourcing Ylang Ylang in Madagascar, Lemons and Bergamot in Italy and Peppermint in North America. If you want reason #2 google Doterra Healing Hands Foundation and read about some of their charity work.

Thanks for asking the question. I know that to my nose they smell better than any other...but I tend to embrace my biases.

RE: Renny's Essential Oils - InnerPower - 03-15-2016 4:04 AM

What about the company that doesn't care about their customer and are only here for profiting their customer.

I did a lot of research on Essential oil and most company sell EO that are not 100% pure.
It's so easy to sell something without the customer noticing any difference to their nose. Because we don't have a nose that is as accurate as a dog nose.
Still we can make a difference between them but only a professional can do that, a guy that has years and years of experience.
The simple customer doesn't have the patience neither the time nor the resource to buy different essential.

Another point is that most company doesn't even know that their EO are not pure because they trust blind fully their source without checking them. So the main problem is at a different source.

I'm not here to bash but not knowing your product is something I'm very critical about. How can you overlook such a thing? It's like saying Garry don't know what androsterone is. Would you trust a pheromone seller that doesn't know what androsterone is?

I'm aware that the FDA works sometimes against us, as it is the case in the perfume industry.

That said even with the huge corruption in EO it's still work as they mix cheaper essential oil in it. So most of time it still works properly to cure some minor problem. Even if they sell lavender oil at 10% it would still work and it might even work better as most people use too much.

But that is so natural of the human being, the EO are so popular right so everyone try to make money through it without knowing what they do.

Why not do it yourself man? I watched a video one day... looked simple. If you want to get wild buy a distiller. This one looks very breaking bad! At this point , in this world, if you want to make sure you're not consuming poisons from greedy humans you just have to do it yourself. Trust me, I know from experience, its a lot of work.

I can tell you for certain the EOs work. LOL, pharmaceuticals make EOs look like organic unicorn semen. They're that good.

100%. I used to work at a health food store in college. I would rub lavender and peppermint oils on when I had a head ache. It worked every single time but would come back sometimes. Have your mom try some peppermint too.

Agree on the peppermint. Also I should mention that I agree with InnerPower on the idea that people should dilute to about 10%. For instance if I were to give someone a 10 ml rollerball dispenser sample to help with headaches I would put about 15 drops peppermint and 15 drops of lavender with 9 mls of fractionated coconut oil.( and tell them it's diluted of course) It's not exact as drop volume will vary considerably since EOs have a lot of variance in what they consist of...it will get you pretty close to 10%. Anyhow roll a little on the temples and back of the neck and put a bit on the palms of your hands. Tent your fingers over your nose and inhale. Both oils are considered analgesic and antispasmodic. The menthol from the peppermint can help open sinuses and stimulate blood flow as well.

We use a lot of lavender...my Love dislikes the smell of any sort of artificial lavender fragrance but she really likes the natural lavender EO. It's a good soother for irritated skin like a rash or mild burns. It's great added to bathtime to settle the kids too.

I also take a Doterra product called Tri-Ease to help with "seasonal respiratory issues" (FDA approved speak). Tri-Ease is a gel cap containing lemon, lavender and peppermint oils.

@InnerPower
As long as you don't ingest essential oils, you should be good;just rub it on the affected area or put couple of drops on shirt as a fragrance.

If you are paranoid(like me.lol),just buy from a company that has organic and natural certificates.End of the day, no one is forcing you to buy from him.

Do you guys read the same text I write. It's like I'm hallucinating.

@Superjoy can you quote me where did I say EO doesn't work?

@Renny I don't have an issue with you personally but with every seller that sell something they doesn't know the proper way to use. I never said EO would kill you. But it could harm your health the way you mentioned to used them (in water).

May I quote you lack of knowlegwe again " A drop of peppermint eo in a cup of warm water is the equivelent of 28 cups of peppermint tea"

At least admit that it's something you would be supposed to know as a seller or an advertiser. It's such a huge lie or lack of knowledge to say that the herbal remedy that our ancestor used to cure some disease are the same as the concentrated oil in water or even diluted in vegetable oils.

Most of the remedy our ancestor used are herbs macerated in water or the herbs directly on the infected area. Essential oils are volatile parts that doesn't mix with water so it can be very different. It doesn't mean it doesn't work, it means we don't know if it works as most of the old remedies are not essential oils based, they are herbs macerated in water.
For example Tea tree remedy wasn't use as essential oil by the Australian Aboriginal.

Although he may have worded it harshly in the beginning (to say the least), he's right. We don't know for certain if these remedies will work the same being prepared in this manner. Tread with caution, and go easy on the dose. Many people cook with essential oils. At the very least, we have a plethora of anecdotal evidence to guide us, but it's important to recognize the limits of anecdotal evidence.

And it's true that, while Doterra's level of quality is a cut above some other mainstream suppliers, they're far from the best out there - from a perfumer's standpoint (as opposed to an aromatherapist), there are better options. Aftelier, Profumo, Lotus Garden Botanicals, White Lotus Botanicals, Victorie-Inc, Hermitage...these are the ones I'd look into. Eden Botanicals, Enfleurage and Liberty Naturals just below that.

I'd be more inclined to trust an essential oil from a reputable supplier designed specifically for use in food and beverages. Take a look at this for what I have in mind:

RE: Renny's Essential Oils - Ekscentra - 03-18-2016 12:45 PM

I do believe Doterra is good-grade. I was only speaking from a (subjective) quality standpoint. I find some of the other suppliers I've mentioned superior to Doterra, sometimes significantly so. To someone who is not a perfumer or who isn't hypersensitive to sensory details, the difference may not be so large. Most people will be perfectly satisfied with Doterra, including many perfumers. The most meticulous of us may want to look elsewhere.

Haha, I'm starting to think that my hypersensitivity to sensory details suck when it comes to scents. I smelt this Vetiver for the first time and was really disappointed. My girl had this puzzled look on her face. She loves it, "you could rub it over my entire body and I would not be upset."

Over all I think the Doterra are really nice smelling. So far they seem super high quality. I'm happy with my purchase but I got a really good deal too. We are the trying out the digestzen on the dog thats having some issues. The Elevation is going in the diffuser for at home use. The vetiver is apparently for dousing all over women while confusing me why they like it. On_the_quiet

I'd be more inclined to trust an essential oil from a reputable supplier designed specifically for use in food and beverages. Take a look at this for what I have in mind:

I suppose I'm looking for something the is great for the perfumers and aromatherapist perspective. Is Doterra not food grade? I thought they were..

Seems like everything I believe can only have anecdotal evidence.

I didn't read completely the article. When I was searching for the best company that sell essential oils 8 month ago I found countless articles mentioning Doterra and their bad practices.
From my point of view I can't trust Doterra even though I never test any of their essential oils.
Doterra practices are shady, I can't trust them. The internet is full of articles mentioning them and what they do seems to prove that. Here it's the FDA talking about them. It doesn't mean I agree with what the author said. It is just one articles mentioning them, and they are tons of them everywhere. During my work with EO I also fall upon a constant bombardment of propaganda from them, so I'm pretty tired to read about them all the time. It doesn't mean their product doesn't work though.

Maybe I have a poor attitude like you said. From my point of view I'm getting angry because we are being lied about what the product is and what it really does. Sometime it's not done on purpose, it's a lack of knowledge.

Another thing maybe EO aren't as powerful as the sellers tells you. It's an hard truth but it's something we need to consider. Something we don't like to do because we prefer to believe in fairy tales. In the end it's like pheromone, does this product really work as advertised or maybe it's a little exaggerated. My point of view is that we don't know.

And what about this admin attitude then?

He doesn't even excuse himself, he doesn't even admit he didn't know that oil and water doesn't mix. Why avoiding it. When I first learn about essential oil I have full of energy, getting all work up and crazy. Then I learn it may be dangerous because oil and water doesn't mix. I felt so stupid but I got over it. Then I learn that a of lot sellers mix their oil with other less expensive oil to get more benefits. I didn't stop though, it's everywhere the same, we are humans, humans cheat when there are a lot of money to earn. Yes

The reason I haven't answered your question is because you aren't even attempting to ask me for a reasonable clarification. From reading your posts I feel you are being deliberatly argumentative. You've had your say. I actually stand by the statement I made. Furthermore, I haven't been spending much time on the forum and what time I have spent here has been on things I feel are much more worthy of my time and effort than playing into your delusional interpretations of my posts. As I posted before you seem to think I am a hillbilly. It is unusual for for a hillbilly to persue an argument with a stump. We tend to just go around them. They all rot eventually.

Okay, I've sat idly by and bit my tongue throughout this and other posts you've made so far, but you want to throw out the statement about "this admin attitude? Lets play!

I realize that you are not from this country and may not have a great grasp on the English Language, but that does not excuse some of the condescending and accusatory statements you've made.

Your attitude toward Renny has been nothing more than condescending and the negative statements you've claimed about the company he represents are based on nothing more than hearsay. Amway is another multi-level marketing company and they produce some really great products, but many consider them a scam because some of their sales associates are less than honorable. I suspect the same is probably true of Doterra, but considering that I don't use essential oils and am not familiar with their products I couldn't and wouldn't make any such claim.

I have known Renny for better than 7 years now, and he is as honest as they come, and just in case you didn't notice this forum is called the Members Helping Members Forum. You certainly did not have to agree with or like what his thread represents, but from your very first post in it you seemed hell bent on discrediting Renny and the company he's representing.

WRONG! You didn't initially state it as an opinion but as fact, and only in one other place in the thread did you ever state anything you said as as possibly less than factual.

So now you have the other admins attitude, and this admin is not thrilled! If you want to attack and try to discredit ANY member on this forum, you better be prepared to back it with first hand experience and factual information, otherwise it's little more than an attack or provocation, neither of which are tolerated on this forum.

I'm really liking my Doterra so far. I wish it was easier to tell quality from EOs. Things I can note is that the Vetiver is really strong. So strong that it smells like two different products from the bottle and applied. The scent from the bottle is simply too strong and unpleasant. I think this is why I didn't like it at first. It dies down to this soft sweet grassy/earthy smell when diluted in alcohol or applied to the skin. This stuff is also very long lasting. I've smelt it on me far past 24 hours. It should be noted that I'm mixing with the Ambergris and Oud when I leave the house which also has a long life. The vetiver also sticks to the bottom of the diffuser. My conclusion thus far is that the vetiver is strong and high quality. I don't know if that mean Food Grade but I'm cool with the purchase. I do feel calmer using it. Lavender and Vetiver seem like a nice compliment.

My partner has been putting the elevation one in the diffuser a lot and it's nice. Does seem to lift the mood.

It seems Vetiver is one of the scents that smells different to the gender. Three guys, self included, have all went, "not bad". It's just a grassy scent thats about one point over good. On the other hand, all 6 women I've asked thus far gave overly positive reactions. The best was at Lowe's. I asked my young female cashier her thoughts and was very positive. There was another coworker a few feet away that was pregnant. I thought she might have a heightened sense of smell and asked her opinion. Her eyes got really big and she gave this emphatic "yes!" I thought it was funny because I gave her an open question and her answer was perfect and short.

Gonna keep working with them but find myself drifting away from synthetic 'mones and towards EOs for sure. I just feel better...

Has anyone put drops of pheromone oil into an EO diffuser with any positive result?

Sorry I missed this RTBoss, I am of the opinion that pheromones belong on the skin. There is also the issue of putting substances in an EO diffusor that it isn't designed for. I doubt whether an alcohol based pheromone would damage a diffusor but I'm not sure DPG would be good for it.I'm speaking strictly of the water based diffusors as those are the only ones I have personal experience with.

I know Androtics sold a pheromone diffusor at one point. I think they were like a Glade Plugin type of thing. I don't recall if there were positive reports or not.
