I was wondering if anyone has reviewed tried these? Why would gold be in a spray version versus the regular max attraction being in drops?
Is max attraction in an oil base versus max attraction gold?
Thanks.]]>false2012-05-17T01:16:06Z2012-05-17T01:17:36Zhttp://pherotruth.com/Thread-Max-Attract-Silk
The one thing I would change about it tho is the scent. Too heavy on the rose for my taste, way too floral. Altho it does fade pretty quickly and it's easy to cover with perfume. A simple vanilla or orange blossom would be a lot more pleasant IMHO.
I still really like it and get good results from it, so much so that I will also like to try Scent of Eros, which I believe is made my the same scientist. ]]>false2012-04-08T20:45:34Z2012-04-08T20:45:34Zhttp://pherotruth.com/Thread-Scent-of-Eros-for-women-self-effects
I tried Scent of Eros for women out at low doses at first, then after a few days, just for the sake of experimentation, I tried really slathering a heap of it on. Within a few minutes I began to feel very anxious and nervous. I am highly sensitive to caffeine, and I would describe it as a similar feeling to the effect I get after a cup of coffee. I became a little shaky, got heart palpitations, and generally felt really anxious – not a nice feeling at all. I measured my heart rate and it had noticeably increased. I had to wash the stuff off before too long.
Now mind you, I did really slather it on that time. So I’ve tried it at dosages in between as well. I thought there might also have been a chance that the feelings were due to something else, nervousness about other things in my life say. But the result is consistently the same, and changing the dosage greatly changes the intensity of the feeling. Washing it off causes the feeling to diminish within minutes. When I tried much less, but enough to have a result, the feeling was much more tolerable, more an excited energy. Still not something I particularly enjoy, but then I don’t enjoy caffeine and I know others can’t live without it.
From my readings I gather that this effect is most likely caused by the alpha androstenol. This is supposed to make people happy and chatty, even a little giddy. Given my sensitivity to caffeine, I would surmise that wearing this works in a very similar way to giving yourself and those around you a shot of caffeine when you enter the room.]]>false2012-04-03T21:45:24Z2012-04-03T21:51:53Zhttp://pherotruth.com/Thread-Human-Pheromone-Sciences-Files-for-Termination-of-SEC-RegistrationHuman pheromones, epigenetics, physiology, and the development of animal behavior.
It has become clearer in the past two decades (since 1991) that the basic principles of biology and levels of biological organization required to link sensory cause to effects on hormones and their affects on behavior are common to species from insects to other mammals, and that the molecular biology of cause and effect is predictably the same across the Creation of species from microbes to man. We can now hope that this accurate conceptualization of how human pheromones affect behavior may become accepted. Acceptance of the effects of human pheromones, for example, may lead to better treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, prevention of autism spectrum disorders, and perhaps even to a vaccine for prevention of atherosclerosis and heart attack or stroke. If you decide to use them to enhance your appeal, it’s merely an advantage of ongoing scientific research.
In that context, it may be purely coincidental that publication of my latest article in Socioaffective Neuroscience & Psychology on March 15, 2012 precedes their March 30, 2012 announcement by only two weeks. But their announcement also could have been predicted by award-winning articles I authored in 2007, or co-authored in 2001, and even back to the first paper I co-authored in 1996 for the research journal Hormones and Behavior.
Since then, it has become increasingly clearer that human pheromones, like the pheromones of insects, cause the changes in hormones that cause changes in behavior. Androstenol, for example, causes change in luteinizing hormone and mood in women. Androsterone is a highly individualistic hormonal indicator of human male reproductive fitness. With or without sandalwood masking odor, this combination of active ingredients enhances the appeal of a man wearing the mixture. Women respond with increased flirtatious behavior that exemplifies what is common to all animals that are influenced by pheromones. No human VNO is required.
Pheromones are like food odors. Not every food is equally appealing. But we can enhance any individual’s appeal with pheromones just like we can spice up the appeal of food. The common principle is that food odors are naturally responsible for food selection; and that human pheromone-enhancement is naturally responsible for sexual selection. Of course this means that human pheromone enhancement may get you selected, naturally. But that fact is no marketing ploy; it’s a biological fact. In this context, my technical publications will assure most people that I am a medical laboratory scientist!]]>false2012-03-04T22:33:02Z2012-03-04T22:33:02Zhttp://pherotruth.com/Thread-Pheromones-com-sponsors-BacillusBacillus
A Video Games project in Santa Barbara, CA by John Halter
This game has great potential as a teaching / learning tool. It is designed to incorporate what some medical laboratory scientists deal with each workday in the hospital lab. For example, during the past several months I have been assigned exclusively to the microbiology department where I isolate and identify different types of bacteria and attempt to determine the best antibiotic to use for treatment of infections.
The connection to pheromones is via the fact that bacteria consume nutrient chemicals that metabolize to the pheromones that control their ability to reproduce. The same basic principles of biology and levels of biological organization apply across species. For example, what the honeybee queen eats determines her pheromone production and the social interactions of every other bee in the hive.
In my next publication, I extend the honeybee model to humans at the same time I detail how my model of olfactory/pheromonal communication links microbes to man.]]>false2012-03-04T20:49:23Z2012-03-04T20:49:23Zhttp://pherotruth.com/Thread-Human-pheromones-and-food-odors
Again, this is a technically correct representation of human pheromones and how they work, which also explains why Scent of Eros products work. I've also been updating my domain Pheromones.com and its Facebook counterpart Pheromones.com with pertinent technical and some non-technical information. Combined with my forthcoming article, I think the information I continue to offer substantiates any claims I have made, as well as claims made by Luvessentials.com, where I am comfortable that they will not misrepresent my works. Here's the abstract of the forthcoming article.
Olfactory cues directly link the environment to gene expression. Two types of olfactory cues, food odors and social odors, alter genetically predisposed hormone-mediated activity in the mammalian brain. The honeybee is a model organism for understanding the epigenetic link from food odors and social odors to neural networks of the mammalian brain, which ultimately determine human behavior. Pertinent aspects that extend the honeybee model to human behavior include bottom-up followed by top-down gene, cell, tissue, organ, organ-system, and organism reciprocity; neurophysiological effects of food odors and of sexually dimorphic, species-specific social odors; a model of motor function required for social selection that precedes sexual selection; and hormonal effects that link current neuroscience to social science affects on the development of animal behavior. As the psychological influence of food odors and social orders is examined in detail, the socioaffective nature of olfactory cues on the biologically based development of sexual preferences across all species that sexually reproduce becomes clearer.]]>false2012-02-09T18:49:25Z2012-02-09T18:49:25Zhttp://pherotruth.com/Thread-Is-Love-in-the-Air-Human-Pheromones-and-Axillary-ChemistryJoy of Science Channel
Given the forthcoming Valentine's Day celebrations, this timely hour-long presentation by Dr. George Preti may be the most informative presentation on pheromones, including human pheromones that will ever be available ~ unless I am asked to present one (just kidding). George is the greatest! Meanwhile, my comments on his presentation may help to interest others in what he has to say about the chemistry of pheromones. I recommend his presentation without reservation, although he does not favorably represent most pheromone-enhanced products, and hope the comments below will be added to the ACS site. In case they are not, here is what I submitted:
Comment 1: I thank George for featuring my product "The Scent of Eros" in this excellent presentation about scientific facts and pheromones, including human pheromones. I will clarify the fact that my product does not contain androstenone, like the others George featured. It does contain androstenol which his work has shown alters levels of luteinizing hormone and mood in women.
At the 2011 annual meeting of the Association for Chemoreception Sciences, results from a study of college women were presented that showed this mixture of androstenol and androsterone (a primate specific indicator of reproductive fitness found in its highest concentrations in men) increased women's observed flirtatious behavior and self-reported level of attraction to a man wearing the mixture (during a 15-minute interaction). The poster presentation is available on the New York Academy of Sciences Faculty of 1000 site at the following URL: http://posters.f1000.com/P1387 Although Dr. Preti was unable to attend the meeting where these results were presented, it would be interesting to hear what he has to say about them because they link an insect model of pheromones and behavior to my mammalian model. In this regard, I suggest that interested individuals also read my award-winning peer reviewed articles, my book, and my book chapter in the Handbook of the Evolution of Human Sexuality. Again, thanks to George for advancing the science of human pheromones. Few people are as qualified as he is to do so.
Comment 2: What's left after Dr. Preti's excellent presentation on the chemistry of pheromones is their representation including cause and effect at the level of molecular biology. For example, watch for: Kohl JV (in press) Human pheromones and food odors: Epigenetic influences on the socioaffective nature of evolved behaviors. Socioaffective Neuroscience & Psychology. get it?
If you can grasp how food odors influence your behavior, you can probably grasp how social odors, called pheromones, influence your behavior. It's the same way that pheromones and food odors influence behavior in every species. That means you don't need to understand the required chemistry or molecular biology, you need only have common sense. And the only sense that's common to all species on this planet is the sense of smell (represented as one of the chemical senses in species from microbes to man). So if you think the appeal of food or other people is a function of what you see (or hear), it's time to come to your senses.]]>false2011-09-10T20:18:46Z2011-09-10T20:18:46Zhttp://pherotruth.com/Thread-How-Pheromones-Work

Stop two, I approached the counter where a younger (then me) woman, say about 30-35, was standing. Gave the same basic spiel as before. She was freindly from the get go, but kept leaning further and further accros the counter, trying to get closer. She had a bid wide smile, flirted just a little, and kept contact with my hand after she had any reason too.
Stop 3, i approached another sales women, gave the same basic spiel, and was told they didn't have what I was looking for. I was then pretty much ignored.
Stop 4, i approached a women about my age, who seemd outgoing anyway. I gave the same basic spiel, and she told me that they didn't have what i was looking for but she wanted to measure my finger, and she showed me a catalogue, and told me how to order it and basically tried to do anything possible to keep me engaged even though she wasn't going to make a sale. Big smiles, wide eyes, and lots of touching herself.
3 out 4, not too shabby. This is one of the most consistant early runs I have had from any product I have tried to date.]]>false2011-03-15T22:20:45Z2011-03-15T22:20:45Zhttp://pherotruth.com/Thread-Copulins-testosterone-and-behavior

The copulin formula used in the Scent of Eros product for women is the same one that was used by Astrid Jutte, who was the first to show that copulins increased testosterone in men. The formula has not changed because it was based on solid research findings. It's a bit over-the-top as far as its "aphrodisiac" approach, but I posted the video to show what others are saying about the product in unsolicited testimony.
If I had paid the producers, the video could not have turned out any better in this regard. Fact is, I didn't even know they were producing the video, much less that they were using my "trade-marked" product in it without my knowledge. Is that legal? Who cares? I learned of it from a Forum member on another forum when the show aired in Great Britain several years ago. I asked a question on the forum about why my product sales suddenly jumped by more than 1000% in a week.
Bruce, at Love-scent.com was supposed to post the video, but reneged. I think he probably realized that it would limit his sales of products that provide him with a greater profit margin. Products that really work are almost invariably going to cost more than those that others think may work.
Hope you enjoy the video. I will continue to try to keep up with the science, but also hope Forum members here will post product reviews now that the link to Pheromones.com and Scentoferos.com is enabled.
