Please consider including environmental and personal considerations like lighting, comfort level/state of mind, time of day, whether you've been to the gym that day (may possibly impact mone effects several ways), dosage at which the effect occurred and length of exposure required for effect.
Common self effects include;
Increased focus on sights, smells, touch or other changes to perception
Reaction to how the mix itself smells
Pupil dilation (lights seem brighter at night)
Increased/Decreased volume of conversation
Inhibition/Disinhibition in speech or action
Increased sleepiness/wakefulness
Depression/Hypomania/Mood Elevation
Vivid dreams
Altered tendency to help others
Decreased/Increased physical distance or comfort
Arousal/Inhibition of arousal
Aggression/passivity
Heightened or decreased attention to social slights
Increased/Decreased tension in shoulders or other signs of stress or changes in body posture
Increased/Decreased focus on social stimuli
Increased focus on repetitive mechanical tasks
Changes in physical coordination or reaction time
Changes in physical endurance
Changes in sexual endurance or enjoyment
Headaches or body aches
Some people claim not to experience effects from molecules like alpha androstenol. Many individuals who don't experience self effects from certain mones also seem less likely to feel the effects of caffeine or alcohol.
Some effects will lessen with continued exposure over long periods of time, while others may not.
Sometimes, the effect of a pheromone on people's behavior patterns can take several days to alter. For example; AndrostAnone is an alpha molecule noted for having a positive "day after" effect, especially compared to alpha molecules like androstEnone.
Noting exposure time is important. While the results of short exposures are relevant, an hour or two of exposure may be required to observe the full range of a pheromone or mix's effects. For example; Facial heat mapping has shown that a bonding pheromone like androstadienone may require as much as 2 hours to register the full range of changes in a woman's facial heat map.
If reactions are almost instantaneous or occur in ways where mones are unlikey to be the cause (such as through a window) consider the impact of your own change in attitude, posture or mindset.
Any person testing mones should have a good understanding of body language. What do closed gestures look like? What are IOIs? etc.
Look for changes in personal distance, pupil dilation, types of hair play, self stimulation, etc. Try hard to be objective here and compare to a baseline. Simply looking at a person can alter their behavior and many mones cause altered attention to social stimuli which can be mistaken for a change in the body language of others.
Most good information on Indicators of Interest comes from the Pick Up Artist community. You don't need to be or want to be a pick up artist to use what they post. A lot of "Pick Up Artistry" is just an accelerated version of the normal relationship process.

Joe Navarro also has some well-informed information on reading body language, though his writing is far less geared towards pheromones and romantic relationships.
Also; was the changed response generalized, or did it change how someone seemed to view you in particular?
Are topics more sexual or more personal? Is a person talking more or less than usual?
Some people can't smell mones or can only smell specific mones. Those who cannot consciously smell mones may still react to them. Knowing whether a a person can smell mones is therefore useful in interpreting their response.
Information about those testing and those tested on are helpful. Those with ADD, Narcolepsy, Bipolar disorder, depression, those on medication for any of these things, on birth control or in different parts of their menstrual cycle, etc. may respond differently. Many people on these forums believe that race is relevant to pheromonal response. Someone's relationship with alcohol or caffeine may be relevant if it is known. Also, age is highly relevant to how someone responds to pheromones like Androstenone.
Extremes in diet or dietary supplements taken may influence the degree to which some mones have a particular effect.
Whether or not a person has a significant other and whether they are living together is relevant to response as well, if you happen to know that information. Many mones diminish in effect with day-after-day exposure and a person's social situation may also moderate their response. A person in a relationship that they intend to stay in may respond with attraction initially but later adapt and stay further away, perhaps because they don't view attraction to other people as desirable.
Also, information about someone's choice in partner and satisfaction with that partner can be useful in helping to rapidly establishing their preference in mones.
What is the temperature, roughly? (temperature impacts diffusion) What are people normally like in this venue? How much air flow is there? (People see very few results on the beach, for example, where mones are quickly blown away.) Anything else about the physical environment.
How much did you apply? What kind of base was it in (oil, silicone, alcohol) and with what kind of fixative? Where was it applied? (wrists, neck, clothes, etc. ) In cooler weather hotter parts of the body may increase diffusion rate.
With some molecules, different effects will predominate at different dosages. For example, with enone at low doses it may be social, like a firm handshake while at higher doses it may signal physical or sexual aggression.
Since molecules in a mix diffuse at different rates, a mix will perform differently 2 minutes after application as compared to 50 minutes after application. This is analogous to the notion of "top notes", "heart notes" and "base notes" in perfume or cologne. Therefore things like temperature and time since application are relevant.
Buffer molecules like androstenol tend to evaporate first. Alpha molecules like androstenone tend to last longer. Thus, many mixes will become more aggressive as the night wears on.
(note: Alpha THDOC functions as a buffer and may last a long time. Androstadienone seems to last a long time as well.)
