You would think they would read this board too and see what people think. I made it clear on their forum that they lost out on my business because after the date they told me A314 would be back past I went and spent $100 at PT...and now several hundred with others. They can play all the games they want, its their business but lost revenue is lost revenue and they can clearly see this by reading what customers are saying. Its actually kinda a great industry to be so close to your customers. To miss this fact shows their poor business skills.

As wise as you guys are, you are making my blind decision to buy this once coveted pheromone very difficult to WANT to try. But I totally appreciate the opinions.

Update: They fixed my snafoo and actually called me back, albeit 24 hours after I called them 16 times.

I'll be blunt here - I really REALLY wanted to buy A314 last year, even if it meant shelling out over a hundred bucks for one little bottle. This is because of how effective it was for me back in '09.

Then I found this forum and started reading - and came to the Rev. 31 fiasco. Then I came across a314.com, and seeing how they sell the same product at another site at just $10 more than its original price, while selling it on the main site for an insanely jacked-up price made me question the business ethics of this company.

This is why I said "uckfay it." I've not found an A314 replacement yet, but I've learned to live without it.

i purchased a314 a few days ago. i had a $40 gift cert applied to my order from when they fumbled my first order. the entire time during the checkout, i was shown i would get free shipping because the order (pre gift cert) was over $100.; A314 is $109. to my surprise, after checkout, i was shown the invoice and i was charged an extra $10 for shipping... at the end of the day, they basically told me i should not have expected free shipping (even though i was only shown free shipping the ENTIRE time until after i paid - where the invoice reflected the $10 for shipping)... the only reason i bought a314 was to give some reviews of this new rev for the senior members here. i don't think a314 will make much of a difference in my life, as i run my own small business...

honestly, if i could go back a few days, i would have just not ordered the product. they still haven't shipped my order and it's been 3 days.

Ok, for the new people here, what is the quick recap regarding A314? It was popular and later on it got less good and now the company is messing up? That about it?

If so, what was so good about the original and what happened to it that made it less good?

That's what I understand as well (as a new member), but I found that besides some mess with rev31 and apparent hate between between pherotruth community and AD (due to some personal/business related issues), a314 was said to be best alpha mix ever (and nothing even close) by many well respected senior members of pherotruth (and as far as I remember, I have seen only one mediocre review of it since I am lurking ~1 year).

Therefore, I can't wait to receive a314 and a bunch of other AD mones (even if such mones are overpriced and I have to finally pay for shipping which I shouldn't as the total was way beyond the $ threshold).

When it first hit the streets yearsssssssss, there was NO QUESTION you were wearing A314. The results were BLATANT in your face I! AM! THE! BOSS! I still can't understand why they started messing with it! *shaking my damn head!* My only guess would be ... IT WAS TOO DOMINANT! Exactly what I wanted and liked about it! You guess WILL NEVER KNOW JUST HOW GOOD IT WAS. You think any of the versions you THOUGHT was good, you should have seen what the ORIGINAL VERSION did!!! Sad, but so very true.

You'd think they'd have kept notes on what it was, and go back to it. The only reason I can think of a formula changing and then not going back "by popular demand," is scarcity of raw materials and sourcing. Or possibly we can chalk it up to plain old stubborn stupidity - "We know better than you."

Two other products people claim changed that used to work well are the original MAG and New Pheromone Additive.

Who knows? Who cares? I don't think they know or care. Maybe it was the changing of the guards, and the original owners didn't want to share? I'd pay 100.00+ with a smile, if it was the A314 of yearsssssssss back!

Not familiar with MAG, but I'm gonna have to agree with New Pheromone Additive. I have the new New Pheromone Additive, and with 4 good dab and smears, I get, "IT'S HOT IN HERE!" a lot. Something I never got from the old New Pheromone Additive; but the old New Pheromone Additive was a BOSS!!!!

One rumor is that one or more of the ingredients became illegal.
