Androsterone Hair Loss
07-08-2016 11:53 PM

Hi, to start, I've had a bald spot on the back of my head since I was 17. Super high testosterone. Look at me, and you'd understand.

This is probably a coincidence, but does anyone know of any articles or have any experience regarding hair loss and the use of androsterone products?

I started to wear the current rev of A314 almost daily March 20th 2016. It looks like my hair line has gone back a bit more than I would have anticipated since that time.

Androsterone = pheromone produced naturally when men are older = body picks up on Androsterone = unnatural hair loss - my napkin drawing theory.

A couple links to see some writing on the subject, but there isn't a lot of discussion on it.

LAL: NA, Voodoo, DP, Wolf and a bunch of samples.
Apex: Titan, Tusc, Core, Dionysos
Androtics: Too much to list

I doubt it, those articles mentioned are for guys taking prohormones orally or injecting them

If you put them on your hair, it's possible. But with pheromones you're talking doses in the mcg range.

I still get solid effects (self and other) from the dose I use. 2 drops to the jaw line usually. 3 at most.

It's coincidence or rationalisation of hairloss. And the bald spot has nothin gto do with "super high testosterone" - it's just a patch of skin on your head with a different gen-transcription pattern than the rest.

I think hairless is so complex that we can never dismiss pheromones influencing it. I remember reading one theory on Androstadienone depression. It may of been thundr, I really cannot remember. That the body uses multiple means to regulate normal hormones. And that if it sences way too much testosterone etc being emitted via olfactory means it may well start to regulate testosterone production, resulting in the depression.

I think I've totally oversimplified the original point, half forgotten it and put it though a round of Chinese whispers... But after reading that my first thought was that it could be totally possible hair loss could be influenced by pheromones. If hormones are being influenced etc. I severely doubt the can cause hair loss but I wouldn't say the same for them advancing hair loss with somebody susceptible to AGA hair loss.

I literally used A314 up to 20+ drops every other weekend for a period and baldness runs in my family and genetically I should have inherited it and I got no hair loss. Now hair loss and bitch tits from prohormones and even herbals. Yes. I've experienced that.

But everyone's system is a bit unique. I would say the possibility exists. I'm convinced the VMNO can trigger early puberty and alter menses and pheromones have some potentially serious influence on the endocrine system. While the levels of the hormone you are attaching to your skin (and inhaling thru mucous membranes) are minimal compared to injecting or creaming, the reality is you are in frontier. Bottom line is that if this shit steers human behavior, it is hitting all sorts of pathways. And your body will respond accordingly.

Bottom line: 95% sure your hair loss is coincidental or related to something else. But could the Pheromones be amping up DHT? Are you getting more hair in your pits but not on your head? Is your beard hair getting thicker? Look for other symptoms as well - tits hurt? moody?

Here's the thing: there is so much science involved we'll never know for sure.

Pheromones are hormones and hormone influencing and they are normally projecting off of a body but we are artificially adding them to our bodies (just like when you put Androgel on).

I'm on year 16. No cancer. No baldness. No other major endocrine issues. But I'm a binge user. There other folks - I think Snoopy who have been using these things for like 20 years. I also just found an add from 1981 touting them. No FDA warnings yet...

Not possible.

Most of your hair growth is related to your food intake or moods. I have hair loss issue due to genetics and pheromones doesn't affect much. Stress is a big factor than anything else.

For the record, I have used more than half the bottle of TUSC (androsterone base product) and didn't see any increase or decrease in hair loss. So, it can not cause hair loss.

A314 might be different. It contains a lot of molecules and effect can be different.

Danny Roddy cured his hair-loss using diet :

http://www.dannyroddy.com/weblog/hairlikeafoxfaq

From the Site :

Q: INTERESTING, BUT DON’T ALL MEN AND WOMEN WITH PATTERN BALDNESS HAVE INCREASED LEVELS OF ANDROGENS?
No.

"The widespread assumption that androgen levels are in general elevated in bald-trait men must therefore be rejected" —Knussman et, al. (1992)

"It is well-known that the androgenic alopecia (AGA) patients’ blood concentration levels of male hormones are not different from those people without alopecia." —(2014) Androgenic alopecia: an evaluation of the thyroid hormones and male hormones as prognostic factors.

This should have been the first clue that something was very wrong with he genetic-androgen hypothesis, and was noted very early on by Dr. James B. Hamilton.

Sadly, today, it’s not uncommon to read a paper that starts with, ‘…baldness is caused by increased levels of androgens’ or something similar. The idea is practically ingrained in the cultural zeitgeist (e.g., ‘fish oil is good for you,’ ‘serotonin makes you feel good,’ ‘sugars cause diabetes,’ etc.).

Products :

LAL : Bad Wolf, Nude Alpha, Voodoo, Aqua Vitae, Max T-150 Cops Stick, Dirty Primitive, Primitive
AD : LIIK (v2-pre 2015), Alfa Masschio (pre 2015), Glace
Androtics : A314 (31), Instant Shine, Ammo, MX331-334, MX292 (original), TUTH, CTTM, Spaceland, Instant Jerk, Instant Honesty
LS : (N) New Pheromone Additive
PT : The Hookup, Captain, GOA, AT
Apex : Core (v1), Imprint, Dionysos, Orbital, M3X. Manimal (oil)
PXS : SOB (Oil/spray), Cohesion (oil/spray), Evolve (oil), Domination, Xist (oil/spray), Connections, Love Boat, XS129B-PSE, XS106A, XS121B (AS), Flirt, Bliss, Exotica, Desire Me (oil), Taboo (spray/oil), Ascend (oil), API (oil)

The issue isn't total androgens, certainly. But would you argue against the notion that mean free androgens are relevant to androgenic alopecia?
