The materials for testing have arrived. I will arrange with mark for the samples, labeled A, B, C, D, etc to be distibuted. Only 5 mls of each available, 1 ml per tester. More updates to come soon.

We have chosen and notified the 5 testers for this first round of testing, and the project should get underway soon.

If you wished to participate but were not selected, please don't think it's because we didn't want to include you, we would have liked to have been able to inlcude everyone.

But, there were only 5 spots available in this initial round of testing so we had to leave some great folks out, this time around.

There will be other projects though, and those of you that wanted to be included and patiently waited for the project to get under way will be able to participate.

To get everything out and the project underway as quickly as possible, we did not select anyone from overseas, not because we didn't want to, not by a long shot! In fact several of you were at the very top of the list of those I wanted to include, so please don't feel left out. You're still at the top of my list, and there will be other projects.

While the testing is in progress none of the testers will be able to see the other testers reports, nor will they even know who the other testers are. Each tester will have their own private forum to report in, and they will not be able to get into each others forums. The forums are labeled "Blind Tester 1 - 5".

Setting the testing up this way insures that there will be no tainted reports from testers reading each others reports and anticipating effects/results.

When all testers have weighed in on each molecule, we will try to put together a general concensus of the effects observed by each of the testers and post the results for each of the molecules for everyone to see.

This should be fun, and if all goes well, the first of many more experiments to come!

Just to give everyone a heads up, the moleules have been sent out to the testers and reports are starting to come in.

Just to give everyone a heads up: the molecule testing project began a couple of weeks ago and reports have been coming in.

So far, the reports have been pretty consistent, and we've got a pretty good feel for one of the molecules at this point.

Testing will continue and once the testers have completed reporting for all molecules we will post the results and announce the names of the molecules to everyone.

These guys are doing a great job, and their reports are pretty consistent with each other. None of the testers know who else is invloved in the project, they cannot see anyone elses reports, and they don't know what molecules their testing, so there is no possibility of placebo effects and reporting based on what any other tester reported.

That their reports are consistent indicates that our testers are astute in their observations, and could maybe even help to convince any skeptics that pheromones do exist and do have an influence over our behavior and the behavior of others.

When is the soonest we can hear some of the reports?

We can announce results for each molecule once all testers involved have completed and finalized their reports for each. However, their reports willl not be posted until testing for all molecules is concluded, to insure that the testing remains totally blind.

It appears that one of our testers fell out or got busy, but we've still got four members involved. One member has concluded testing on one of the molecules and come to their conclusion of its effects. Three others have reported, but not issued final conclusions on it yet.

As quickly as they do, we'll look for consistancies and try to summarize their conclusions, then reveal the molecules name and a general concensus of its effects.
