At some point the owner will be tempted to act against users who, rightly or wrongly, start saying things that could lead to reduced sales. They'll act on that temptation to different degrees, but it will always be there.

It's a brave owner who'll let posters advise people, on their own forum, to go and buy something elsewhere.

This is why there has always been a need for an independent forum like PheroTruth where you are free to say both what has and what has not worked for you. I'm extremely glad this place exists and, indeed, wish that it had existed for a lot longer!

I'm going to second this for positivity. It seemed like someone was getting banned once a week when I first joined here. Less since then but I don't think there has been a single time I saw a banned person here and didn't think Thank God. Mark does a good job at keeping it real but not the draconian BS one can see elsewhere, IMO. Thank you for you effort.

@paradox. Amen Brother. While your complaint with AD is probably beating a dead horse at this point, you are 100% correct. Censorship is the antagonist of truth. I agree that a private company can do what they please with there website but it's totally wrong... clearly censorship. Ultimately it is censorship and no American with American value should want to give money to.

@everyone. If you believe in truth and honesty is business and you give a single dollar to these guys you're an asshole at this point. You are literally voting that companies lie, cheat, steal, and censor for you own personal benefit. This is why the world sucks and is the way it is. Because even when you know people are doing something wrong you care not as long as you get yours. All is fine as all as you get to rape and pillage as well, huh? I saw people last week agreeing they were going out of business and that they better stock up now before it was too late....way to respect others...way to respect yourself.

My apologies for the negativity. I'm sick and had one of those days were I just couldn't stand to watch the disrespect when I was out in public anymore. Maybe if I had on some A314 things would have been better.

Apparently you failed US high school civics class, didn't read or understand the entire wikipedia article you linked to and have mistaken AD for Congress or other US governmental lawmaking body.

While it may be censorship, and in the US, and people may not like it, it has nothing to do with the First Amendment.

Every once in a while I poke around to see what's happening at Androtics, because as much as I hated their business practises, they still allowed me to engage with very few other experienced pheromone users on the forum.

Frankly, I'm surprised they didn't ban me years ago when I started calling out Androtics on a shitty batch of a314. After 2-3 years of using rev17-rev23, getting a batch of rev31 was clearly a far inferior product (I wrote a much longer story on Androtics Direct here - this is a rewrite of an older article). Not long after, John Sebastian emailed me trying to explain the full situation. He subtly tried to explain that Androtics were having a hard time getting scarce molecules, volatile materials etc etc. Bullshit, in other words.

He offered to send me a free bottle of a314 which was "special" out of their "reserve" to try out (which apparently MHarris had to approve, which is why it took weeks to get to me)... and also hinted at me removing the post because it was a "special" batch they were testing for public release, which of course never happened.(if any of you remember the social editions and several other special editions that were released at the time).

Regardless, I wasn't happy about rev32 either, and since they just weren't going to be honest about it I let it stay there. Frankly, I would have far more respect if they just told everybody exactly what they were doing without all the crap they make up about their super secret scientist formulas.

That's why they're trying so hard to censor everything because they are the laughingstock of pheromone world. I bet mobocaster comes and reads all these posts to try and figure out new ways to scam newbies... eventually the truth will be learned by everyone who does a modicum of research on them.

You are correct in that the First amendment is applicable to government.

The insults however were uncalled for.

True.

He reported "subtle" effects instead of reporting that Royale was a "fail" like everyone else was reporting.

Then he tried to hype up the fact that Royale works well with IJ. The problem with that is that people purchased A314 (and received Royale) expecting it to work like A314 and it doesn't (from the reports).

To me once you start mixing a formula with something else that means the original formula is not doing what it is supposed to be doing or it's not doing what you would like it to do.

So my ability to speak on the Androtics forum was removed.

I have nothing against Androtics. Some things they do right. The practice of censorship is IMHO wrong.

Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication or other information which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, politically incorrect or inconvenient as determined by governments, media outlets, authorities or other groups or institutions.

You've made some excellent posts in your journal over in PheroTalk. Aside from looking back over old posts, it was one of the few reasons I continued visiting there. Do you intend to continue your journal on PTruth?

I was not happy about rev 32 either. My criticisms of it in my journal were put there not to harm Androtics but to help them. Constructive criticism should always be taken in the spirit it is given.

I had a girlfriend once who couldn't cook. She made spaghetti and meatballs for me and it was as salty as hell. My blood pressure must have gone up 10 points after the meal.

I decided not to tell her it was too salty because I know she tried. So what happened. She cooked spaghetti and meatballs for me again later that month. Once again it was too salty. So whose fault was it? It was my fault for not suggesting to her that she cut back on the salt next time.

Mobocaster is just doing what he thinks is right. He is defending his company. I was also doing what I thought was right by trying to suggest that perhaps A314 was not quite right.

Mobocaster is not trying to scam newbies. The truth is that Androtics does have good products that work.

Phertest, I think that the truth about A314 is as follows (this is all speculation):

1. One or more of the components to make A314 is not available anymore.

2. A314 Royale is the bad batch.

3. A314 Naturalle is the ok batch but does not match the effectiveness or potency of previous revisions.

4. This last one is pure speculation but I believe that MHarris is no longer directly involved with Androtics and refuses to give up the original formula. The current revisions (rev 31, 32 Royale and Naturalle) are an attempt by another chemist to duplicate A314.

Hey Ekscentra, the original intent in starting a journal at Androtics was to keep track of my experiments with the mixes and putatives that I'd tried.

The Instant line there could be mixed with each other and with putatives so I decided to start a journal to keep track of what I was doing.

It ended up being a peek into my thought processes as I was exploring the pheromone world.

I'm glad you enjoyed it but now it will never be updated again.

The truth is, I was more interested in your VL1 experiments and your thoughts not directly pertaining to Androtics. Perhaps you could start something in a similar vain here.
