Hello!!!

I'm a recent lurker and I think I'm ready to have a first go at pheromones. I'm a graduate student in Newcastle, UK and just finishing my masters.
Now I realise I might have a unique problem.
Based on past experience I tend to attract boy-ish men who seem to like to be schoolboys around me, and the two boyfriends I've had seem to share that characteristic. My first boyfriend went from being the Alpha man of my dreams, sentimental, macho and independent to being really dependent, careless and even told me all guys treat their girlfriends like their mother sometime into the relationship. At first it was a bit of a joke, then he really became needy and helpless around me. Needless to say, committed as I was, it didn't end well and he took me for granted.
My current boyfriend is very academic and I sort of expected him to be a B-type personality. I'm his first girlfriend. But I'm getting a sense of deja vu with him and I don't know if it's the kind of men I attract or I tend to make them that way. Either way, I'm nearing 30, I really don't want to mother my boyfriend and I am craving a strong, secure, protective guy as a partner, because that's what my dad is like. He's the Alpha type leader of the hell rider gang (in his heyday) type and I really, really dig that. I suspect I may have inherited his genes/character and so am I making my guys soft??
Which molecules or pheromones should I be looking at?
