I'll try something similar with ambergris, beeswax and hyraceum since I'm against the use of civet and castoreum. I have a feeling this will help form a fantastic animalic base for many of my own mixes.

I got some ISO Super from this supplier on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Molecule-01-Is...XQd2hRXyP~

Along with some ISO E variations he sells (so mixed with Vanilla, Ambroxan, Sandalwood)

So the best method is to spray the ISO FIRST, let it dry down, then apply mones on top? Does this apply no matter the carrier i.e. gels/oils/sprays?

Liquid Alchemy Labs: Wolf, AV, NA, OD, DP, Nude, SXD9, BWolf, PA, Hyp, Voodoo

Love Potion: Super, TeddyBB2, Voracious

Love Scent: NPA, NNPA, NNPA Touch, IMPI Red
Pheromone Treasures: Latina, GoA, Captain, Auraental

I'm not sure how anyone else does it, but that is what I do and it works for me. Iso E, let it dry and then put my Pheromones/scent over that. It seems to work well and aid diffusion for me.

That is my strategy, too, except with the civet, castoreum, and hyraceum which is mixed with the IES.

I've also been applying propolis.

Straight propolis is unlikely to have the desired effects. I wonder if propolis, bee pollen or royal jelly exist in the form of an essential oil or absolute? They'd make great animalics - this I'm certain of. Sidr honey as well.

I'm going to be working on a base designed to surpass Molecule 01 within 1-2 weeks. I'm dropping Timbersilk and IES in favor of Sylvamber. It's said to be 3-10x (!!!) the impact of IES, yet still more elegant and refined in scent. The scent will be modified and diffusion further enhanced through the use of tiny amounts of Madranol and Hedione HC. I'm undecided on how much Madranol to use, though I've contacted someone who can give me further information here.

Interesting. How would describe the scent?

That thread is precisely the one that led me down this path. I found it almost 6 months ago, but couldn't find it again until yesterday. I've contacted Paul Kiler on Madranol. Hopefully he'll get back to me soon. Chris Bartlett still hasn't used this molecule.

Propolis certainly has overlaps with honey. More body, and something a little savory, too, though. I am not great at describing scents, really.

Intense.

Nobody causes a deletion of my bank account like Ekscentra.

Sarcastic

Here's a good blog entry on how beeswax is used from a perfumery perspective:
