Yep celery is very salty. I am not big on salty though so sometimes I don't like it.

Papaya is weird. It comes out almost pulpy. Definitely not a clear juice.

a ripe papaya is so easy to digest there really isn't much reason to juice it rather than just slice it up and eat it. such awesome good nutrition

It's one of those huge ones. It tricked me into thinking it was all the way ripe and it's not, so i am juicing it Wink

Yeah, papaya is totally weird. Growing up, my mom would pick out ones that seemed practically spoiled and fermented to make sure they were ripe. The cashiers would ask her if she was sure she wanted it.

Conversely green, unripe papaya is excellent shredded in salads and asian dishes.

Yeah I love green papaya too.Asian food is my favorite Smile Particularly Viet Namese and Thai. This one I have is partially that deep orange it's supposed to be and light unripe orange. It had these deep soft spots that were about to fester so I thought it was time. LOL.

Yeah, it so good, but it is a tricky fruit. Neat thought to juice it. I would have never thought of it. How was it? the cloudy consistency wouldn't bother me at all.

Not so much cloudy as thick. I think it's just sooo soft that it gets through the mesh strainer. Tastes good though. I did it with strawberries.

I am still juicing everyday and loving it. My daily staple is carrot apple ginger. I am addicted to it. I love trying new ingredients. Last week my new ingredient was beets. Good but very very earthy. I nade everyone in my family try it (Beet carrot Apple). No one liked it. My 5 year old starting spitting, to get the taste out of her mouth and the boyfriend...gagged so hard i thought he would puke. Wussie. Today I am having Apple Rhubarb. It's so delicious. I cheated and bought frozen rhubarb since fresh is so crazy expensive. First time I have done that, but I had to have it. My kids loved it. I love turning them on to new foods and I am so proud they have such sophisticated healthy little pallettes.

Beet apple carrot sounds so divine. I'm just so shocked they didn't like it. At least you got to enjoy more of it. Big Grin

Strawberries should be on sale right about now. They would work really well in either of the blends you mentioned. mmm
