I ordered this and WOLF for the DH from Liquid Alchemy. Shipping and communication were top-notch, packaging was excellent - no leaks, bottles were shrink-wrap sealed, extra samples were in very nice little zippies.

Extra little samples of the flagship products POSSESS for men and women were included along with a funny little page about using the product and personal hygiene and flirting. I got a giggle out of that but it's a nice thought.

So I came in to work and the package was there - I immediately ripped it open, sprayed on 2 sprays of Maui Kiss. Pheromone content is without question - I could smell the pheros under the cover. Cover scent is a pleasant sort of beachy tropical scent. I grew out outside Daytona Beach, so it reminded me of something at the "impulse" checkout counter at Ron Jon's, but it certainly isn't offensive. It dries down to a soft musky scent, quite nice. DH later commented that he thought it smelled "nice" and "pleasant." Good enough.

I quickly felt upbeat and happy - cheery even. By the time my coworkers came in, I was beebopping around, teasing and flirting (in a friendly way, not sexually). Everyone seemed pleasant and even boss' gripes and unloading about his impending speech were only halfhearted.

Of course I soon added some WOLF to the mix because I was curious - just a spray to the back of my hands. Hmm...

Went out and ran some errands - didn't notice anything extraordinary, but I live in a friendly small town and you should expect to be conversed with anytime you quit moving within speaking distance of another warm body. Of course everyone wanted eye contact, smiles and chat but that isn't out of character.

Then I went home to assist the underground locators in finding our water leak (out in the barn, in winter). I admit I was looking fierce - really rockin' the Carhartt and the rubber Muck boots. It's a look some men might find irresistible. The young helper kept turning red in the face and taking surrepticious glances at me. He tried not to follow me around, but I kept tripping over him. The main guy was very friendly and talkative - he later told my husband he hoped he hadn't offended me b/c he may have "overtalked". Ha.

I sprayed on 2 more sprays to neck before DH got home - he said he liked it, but was more interested in unwinding after an admittedly highstress day than ravishing me. More's the pity, because I was high on myself and a little horny. I had him smell my neck and then said "Does it make you want me..." His reply "I always want you. But it makes me want to be close to you."

Interesting.

I wore it the next day, and with the same reactions. I get a nice mood uplift for a couple hours after application. It's worth it for that alone. Others seem to respond with a happy sort of friendliness. Had a long chat with an officemate about music and scifi - our favorite topics - had to pretty much kick him out. Had my grouchy boss laughing at his own curmudgeonliness before he left for his event. Talked a coworker off the ledge when she encountered an obstacle. Pretty smooth day.

More a social blend than pure sexxayy - I like it so far. Perfect for intermittent social wear and a feelgood vibe. Summery scent that covers very well but won't interfere with other scents you might want to wear.

The real test will be tomorrow - Saturday at Wal-Mart. A fabulous testing ground for close encounters with the stressed-out-self-absorbed-bordering-on-psychotic.

What is the scent like? I mean, what does "beachy tropical" mean to you? Plumeria, orchids, tropical flowers...or more fruity pineapple, mango, coconut?

The blend sounds really good. Almost a bit like Lace... bright & happy social with a feminine/softly sexy twist

Maui Kiss? What an odd name. Beachy tropical means the smell of the ocean and flowering palms to me. If you add people you get essence of sweat 'n suntan lotion. Well, that's what beaches on Oahu smell like. Maui isn't much different. Hopefully Maui Kiss doesn't smell like coconut suntan lotion.

Scent is very mild of Maui Kiss. No coconut oil!

It's a soft, slightly fruity top & middle tied up with what I suspect are white woods of some sort as a base. Nothing overpowering.

I continue to get good, upbeat effects from this stuff. I have left off using it for a few days to make sure I don't burn myself out on it.

Xiphoid - it does feel a bit like Lace, perhaps a bit sparklier. I am really surprised by the strong self-effects I get. I just have a ready smile and an upbeat attitude when I wear it, which seems to rub off on others.

I have noticed, though, that it turns my neck and wrists red where I spray it. And it itches a little. Now, I don't normally wear alcohol based perfumes, so that may be it. Or I may be reacting with something in the mix, I don't know. It's not a deal-breaker, but it is sort of odd - I have never had a reaction to any phero blend before.

UPDATE:
I posted at 8:52 this morning and mentioned that Maui Kiss made my skin a little red and itchy. Got back from lunch, and an email from Garry at Liquid alchemy Labs was in my inbox, stating that he had been notified of my reaction via email (where my posting was copied). He said it was the first time he had heard of such a reaction to Maui Kiss, and he wanted to send me individual components to test.

You can't beat that kind of service - response so proactive it happens even before you notify the vendor!

So perhaps I will be finding out exactly what I am reacting too. Way Cool responsiveness from Liquid Alchemy.

Probably one of fragrance components gave you the rash. Some of the A314 variants gave me a rash, especially on neck and forearms. I don't think anything is wrong with the product. It's just that some people are sensitive to certain plant extracts.
