Doesn't have to be perceived to smell bad, just subconsciously understood to mean poor mating choice.

It's not a smell that a lay person would recognize as "bad" per se, it is just a skin smell that only people with cancer have. Like I said it's only a theory, but it seems to fit really well with what I've learned about pheromones over the last three years Smile

That is understood. But has anyone actually found it to be the case that this mone reduces their attractiveness either via explicit recognition of the odour (not what you suggest) or via tacit response to a sense that one is not quite fit? Practical experience suggests otherwise, and I suggest one can go astray with ideas based only on tenuous theory.

That this mone has been found in breast cancer does not mean that it distinctively in the world in which we are adapted tends to be found in breast cancer.

Some black cats smell of potatoes. Therefore if one smells potatoes, the cat must be black.

Love ya comparision with the black cat Wink

I´ve used Methoxyestratetraenone a lot and never found it to have bad effects pheromone wise ...

or scent wise ...

Dogs can smell cancer.

Meo/est? Who knows. But I definitely agree with Kmacc's stating it chills out women and i notice attractiveness properties.
It does not seem to last all that long. Given the cancer clouds over it - I'm not using any longer. ( exp derived from true Love and AD Meo/est - straight).

I'm trying to get to the bottom of what molecule "methoxyestratetraenone" actually refers to.

Here's a very interesting old thread about it: http://www.pheromonetalk.com/pheromone-t...32751.html

It looks like the two leading candidates are:
3-MEO-1,3,5(10),9(11)-estratetraen-17-one, which is of human origin
and
1,3,5(10), 7-Estratetraen-3OL-17ONE Methyl Ester, which is of equilin origin

Anybody have any info on this?

I would like to add to what Pheroquirk said.

Just because Methoxyestratetraenone is found in/around breast cancer cells does not mean that Methoxyestratetraenone causes breast cancer.

When you see a building on fire and there are Firemen and Fire Trucks around, it doesn't mean the Firemen caused the fire.

Flies don't make trash, they just are attracted to it.

About the Equilin derivative aspect of Methoxyestratetraenone , Equilin being a constituent of Premarin, Premarin coming from distilled/extracted PREgnant MARe urINe (HORSE PEE);

DOES SMELLING HORSE URINE CAUSE CANCER? (This is off topic), but humans have had quite a history with agrarian lifestyles (farming) and have been around alot of animals with pheromones and urine coming out of them.

Are we shifting the whole paradigm by not smelling animal pee on a daily basis?

Sorry if I only offer questions without answers.

I personally have read many positives regarding the effects of the product. Also, i have read some negatives regarding precautions. I have some and will use it from time to time. I typically only wear mones on weekends, therefore my own exposure will be limited. It basically comes down to a persons expectations, dosage, as well as frequency of usage where the concern may come into play.

Chris, you develop quality products, therefore if you chose to market something, we trust you in your judgement. At the end of the day you are not only a businessman, yet wish to deliver to us loyal consumers quality and trustworthy products.
