I recently bought Molecule 01 (ISO E Super) to extend the longevity of some of my mixes and what surprised me about it was the smell. It’s just smells incredible!!!

It has a very strange smell, light and sweet, kind of like fresh sweat. I have never gotten so many compliments from women. Since then I have started using it as my cologne.

MECCA HERO - I am in OZ.

Moleule 1 is probably not the Iso-E-super that most perfumes would have as an ingredient or which aromachemical suppliers would offer.

Iso-E-super is not a single molecule but a mixture of isomers. Depending on synthesis, the quantitative ratio of isomers differ. Most hobbyists think that Molecule 1 contains an aromachemical in which the ratios are quite different to standard Iso-E- that's why Timbersilk or Sylvamber seem to be better choices when one wants to approimate Molecule 1's scent.

I personally don't think the price of Molecule 1 is in any way justified, it's just clever marketing, the margin exorbitant. But that's the free market.
Look at Sylvamber. You get 2ml for 3$, and this is retail pricing. This means 40ml of extremely concentrated, Molecule 1-like fragrance would cost you 3-5$ if selfmade and that a standard overdose of 20% of Iso-E-super in the fragrance concentrate of a standard 100ml EdT (6%) costs less than a dollar for the industry.

Iso-E-super is omnipresent, if you know how it smells, you identify it in the majority of perfues, deodorants, detergents, fabric freseheners, soaps, sahmpoos you name it. I can't stand it anymore. If it has pheromonal qualities, its effects are long since offset by permanent exposure.

I read this somewhere else too. Before I bought mine from Cinis labs. And from what I've gathered this pretty much sums it up. I did request a molecule01 sample none the less cos I wanned to test it anyway.

Thanks for the info George. Repping ya now.

Another good molecule 1 alternative I have and can suggest can be found here, at much lower pricing:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/508154058/c16h26o-perfume

It is 35% ISO E, but using Cinnis labs Extreme Concentration version it is quite powerful in its effects on helping pheromones. It has a light ISO E/Molecule 1 scent, and so can be layered with other scented pheromone products without much issue adding the benefits without all the pre mixing.

At other times I just take their ISO E concentrate and add around 10 drops per 10ml to start to other colognes I like in advance and use that as my cover scent. A range of 5-40 drops per 10ml will work, much of it is preference as ISO E itself has scent and using more will increase its effects on the pheromones part.

I actually have a ten ml bottle of this and I do see people reacting in the same fashion as when I wore my sample of Molecule 01. And it is waaaaay cheaper.

Snoopy, did ya get urs from etsy or different platform? I got me iso from etsy, and got a sample of molecule 01 from'em for free.

Haven't tested it in the field yet, but smells similar from the sample vial.
