I've always read that the sense of smell is the fastest way to memory. I've also read that people who lose their sense of smell are prone to depression because it's hard for them to recall good memories (but that's not what the point I'm making here)

I made an experiment:

I bought testers online and when they came in the mail, I assigned an association for each scent:

For La Nuit, I played classical music

For Farenheit, I played a video of a lamborghini show with the CEO's with italian accents talking about their new car. The Aventador.

For Terra de hermes, I played a natural ambience of rain.

For Aventus, I played the Riders of Rohan theme from Lord of the Rings. I think that I'm on a horse charging into battle.

Now everytime I spray these scents, I always think of these associations.

My idea for everyone is that when you catch yourself a happy moment or a good moment, spray something you've never smelled before so you can remember the feeling of the situation. I had A-1 depression just right now and then I sprayed Farenheit and completely got over it.

This makes a lot of sense one of my ex's always used the same perfume when she was with me. Whenever I smell it on other women it automatically makes me think of her.

In this case, how Nude Alpha caused memory imprint both the wearer and the target eventhough if this product is made unscented? In the other side, we all know that Wolf has more detectable and nicer scent than NA

You assume unscented means unscented, when it really only means unfragranced. NA has some of the strongest projection of any unscented mix I'm aware of save OD. But this really doesn't have anything to do with this thread.

The pheromones actually made a chemical reaction towards the brain to create an imprint but a scented fragrance gives a psychological response towards a memory.

Anchoring is an NLP thing, I think its similar but anchoring can also be through speech and other mediums.

Yes, this would be a form of anchoring. I often use something similar as a form of memory technique.

I think scent helped me keep my former LDR of almost 4 years. She would sometimes randomly smell Chloe and immediately text or call me saying I put some spell on her. This was sans pheromones.

Even until now, last time she saw me, I put it on again, and she immediately pulled me and playfully whispered "ugh, you're doing this on purpose, arent you? Putting on some chloe before you saw me?"

I didn't think about this until after I was done with college but a great experiment would be to use a set of smelly markers as a study aid and then re expose yourself to the scent during testing. Yeah you'll look like an idiot until you start pulling A's with little effort.


I had a buddy I lived with 15 years ago. His GF at the time would wear Angel. Sometimes I would be like, Wheres Magda? Dude, shes been gone for two hours. HAHA strong stuff. To this day when a woman walks by me with Angel on I instantly think of Magda. I almost always say her name out loud. I feel sorry for those who have had bad break ups and this happens.
