Pheromones applied to clothing vs skin, revisited.
01-12-2014 8:41 PM

I have read the handful of threads here regarding the use of pheromones applied to clothing instead of directly onto the skin. It was very helpful information, but, it left me with unanswered questions.

So, for those of you that prefer to, or tend to (for whatever reason), apply pheromones directly onto your clothing, here are my questions:

1.) Are you able to quantify how effective any given amount of a specific product is on your clothing compared to how effective it seems to be when worn on your skin?

Can you figure a rule-of-thumb ratio for your products? Like: "Wolf is about 70% as effective on my clothing as it would have been if it was applied to my skin".

Or perhaps: "It requires three sprays of Wolf on my shirt to equal the effects of two sprays on my skin".

2.) Does that ratio change much from one type of pheromone product to another? Or is it usually a similar ratio that works across the board, regardless of what product it is?

3.) Even if you have to use a lot more product on your clothing to get a similar reaction to a normal skin dosage; do you always lose out when applying to clothing due to your own personal signature not being allowed to mesh (thus never producing as full of a vibe) as if it were on the skin?

I understand that, to some extent, extra product (on clothing) will make up for the lack of heat during the diffusion process. I also understand that the products on the skin will change characteristics (due to heat and bacteria) quicker, unlike on the clothing, for the most part.

Thank you in advance!

CLRTR,

I don't know that I can address your questions directly, so I'll just tell you what I do.

If it's been a spray product (ie CohesionXS or TabooXS, basically PheromoneXS products), I've always sprayed it onto my t-shirts prior to going to the gym (my primary testing ground). This has always been my modus operandi with spray products, going back to my late high school, college days. I rarely apply colognes to my skin; I just find it a little irritating I guess. So I do this out of habit.

Oil products (ie AV, Wolf, NA, etc., basically LAL products) I apply to my skin. It's been my experience that this is the best way to use Garry's products, plus, it's a little oily for application to clothing (duh). When guys have said that the spray pump mists the product, I find this hard to believe, because it's the same product as available in the roller/bulb dropper; same viscosity, same everything. Calling it a spray pump doesn't make it any more than the pump that it is.

Applying products in this manner hasn't resulted in non-hits, provided the products are effective to begin with (which the above mentioned products are). I think you'll find that most guys are pretty consistent in how they use their mones. They're either all skin or skin/clothing. Asides from myself, I'm not sure there are any other guys that take this approach to utilizing spray versus oil mones. I just think it's kinda self-evident that you would use oils on your skin, while with sprays it's an either/or proposition. But I can't put any kinda figure on which method is better; if it works, it just works.

Man, I just realized; this probably doesn't help at all. facepalm

No Sir, it does help. A lot, thank you! I needed some validation that people are effectively using these products on clothing.

My problem is that I have not yet seen much in the way of hits or the effectiveness of products applied to my clothing. I think that I need to just keep testing and possibly up the dosages a bit.

It sounds like you are not really needing to up the dosages over what is typically being reported as an effective dose for any given product when used on the skin by other users?

Thanks again!

In my experience, I have seen that the mones need to work with your skin to work at all. Applying to clothing etc. has never worked for me.

Now this is helpful, too. It make me wonder if Dafixisin's method is effective because he is possibly wearing the products on thin T-shirts that
keeps the body temperature, even where the mones are applied, up to a level that helps with the dispersion enough to make it effective (versus wearing a thick sweatshirt with the jones applied on the outside)?

I use to apply TL on skin but now I apply only on clothing (cuffs on my shirts).

I couldn't find any difference between the two, as hits are pretty consistant whether I apply TL on skin or clothing.
