I've been having this nagging problem for a while, I've often found myself avoiding getting any soap on the back of my hands whenever I wash my hands when using colognes, believing that the soap and the water would wash away the phero's. Any advice? should I worry about it or not?

You should read some of the stickies, this question and many others are answered there. To answer, you should clean app points with alcohol/witch hazel and hydrogen peroxide, or hunter's soap, if you want to be sure. Heavier molecules like none last longer on the skin.
