I would like to hear about your testing methods of solo products.

For every products I've tried so far, I have been testing 1x spray, (2x for sample bottles) then increasing by 1 spray every couple of days until I reach 3 sprays - so more or less 1 week testing. I usually spray on my neck

I am not sure it is the best method though cause I can't seem to get a grip on most of the products nor what my sweet spot is.

Do you guys use a different method? Do you reapply during the day after 5-6 hours ?

I am looking forward to reading what is your testing routine for new products.
