If I remember my organic chem correctly 5a-Alpha Androstenol would just be Alpha Androstenol with a more specific description of the molecule. Numbers in molecular names signify location of a specific group of atoms/side-chain onto the molecular skeleton.

The thread read (in my understanding) that the chemical name was encompassing both 'nols. As far as ghosting I haz no idea. I just get 'mones in a scent carrier now. So I have a guide as to how much I'm applying.
