You seem intelligent, but your English skills seem a bit lacking. If English is not your first language, it could explain your difficulty connecting with others.

How to deal with OD and ghosting is just don't OD or ghost again. It's that simple. You don't need to do anything to overcompensate for the last interactions. Every single person has good and bad days in their lives. Maybe you were perceived as a little 'off', but everyone is once in a while.

The LAST thing you do is keep THINKING about it. Don't worry, you must think that YOU are the SHIT. Let it go, Let it go...

It's all good, just relax

I don't think that this should deteriorate into personal attacks.

We should help each other and each should contribute to a goal, rather than working against each, in effect not getting anywhere.

We're just trying to help you. You asked for help with your situation, so naturally we're criticizing you but constructively we hope.

I think you totally misunderstood what I wrote. I'm truly sorry about that.
I am truly amazed that someone would not understand the argument that I was making.

I don't want to argue with you because I have better things to do, and this is not the place for it and I don't want to be part of such activity that leads to nothing.

So you have a nice day

Please do not take it personal. The guys and gals are just having a bit of fun welcoming you in. It happens around here. Lol
Its when no one pays attention to you at all is when you should feel isolated.

Let me share a little story that may help here.

Uncle Bob has been sniffing the kitchen fumes for the past 2 hours from the living room ready to turn loose on Thanksgiving dinner. It is a buffet style dinner with many food items to choose from and uncle Bob is steady slamming everything that looks good onto his plate. He has heard good things about this food and even sampled a bit for himself and knows it is legit.

Bob sits down at the table with everyone with his sloppy plate that is all running together but it doesnt matter to uncle Bob because to him its all going in the same place anyway.

After dinner he is in the living room continuously asking everyone why he has heartburn and an upset stomach. He speculates that it may be the beans but it may have been the pie. Maybe it was the stuffing? Can someone recommend me some medicine? Can someone teach me how to decide if the food I eat agree with me or not? Anyone? Anyone? Someone please help me I can't believe no one is listening to me! Doesnt anyone care I just ate this big plate of various food items and now I feel sick?

He spends the rest of the dinner pleading desperately to those that took their time to experience their food items and how it affects them. He does not realize that if he took his time and properly sampled his food items ONE AT A TIME, he would have been able to diagnose his own issue. This is why the family is getting a bit annoyed at uncle Bob because he is spending people's downtime answering questions he should be able to figure out himself.

This would have allowed uncle Bob (and the family) to digest dinner in peace instead of playing 20 questions about which on his plate of 10 food items was the culprit.

Now lets listen how uncle Bob spend 2 more hours speculating it was the broccoli soup and maybe not the pie. Maybe if he spends more time asking everyone what was in the broccoli soup he can get someone to link him to what was the cause of his ailment. But then again maybe it was really just the beans after all...

Please do not play the victim card to those that you are perceiving attacking you. They are actually trying to help you.
They are great people but are not obligated to figure out what was on your plate, how it affected you, what was in it, has it affected anyone else? Please someone talk to meeeeeeeee.

Im sure you see where the massive influx of questions come from jumpy hasty mone use. These simple, yet repetitious, questions can be answered by oneself by just taking your time and going one at a time.

I just summed up 90% of noob issues in one turkey story. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving (to those that celebrate it).

Quote:Please do not take it personal.

I take it absolutely personal because it was personal in the first place.

Quote:The guys and gals are just having a bit of fun welcoming you in.

If it's "constructive criticism" it can't be joking around but it's serious. If it's "fun", then this is not my definition of fun and I find it deeply wrong and offensive.

Your comment on Bob and your comment on testing mones (or products) one at the time is correct in principle.
Still I was raising other points as well that I didn't see discussed in other places.
Also, I do think there are questions that can not be answered by trying mones out one at the time.
If it were so, large parts of the forum wouldn't exist.

I am certainly not forcing anyone to answer, and I wouldn't even see a way for that if it were possible. But when people respond I do expect a certain degree of integrity.

Quote:Please do not play the victim card to those that you are perceiving attacking you

I do not see myself as a victim in that sense but I will protest against such useless attacks

Quote:They are actually trying to help you

Quote:Many are for sure. But someone who makes gratuitous and in a way reprehensible attacks is not.

Quote:Please someone talk to meeeeeeeee.

I guess that's the point of a forum. To talk with other people. To interact. To have a conversation, a discussion.
Nobody is forced to answer (unlike perhaps in the case of Bob in your story)

And even if people are annoyed, that does not give them the right to engage in ways that would not be tolerated anywhere in the real world. - in civil society.
