What are your thoughts on talking to your partner DURING sex? I had a partner I did a few times tell me she thought I was a little crazy because I would talk to her as I was fucking her..
She told me she thought during sex one should focus on the pleasure of the act.
Yet when making love I thought expressing your emotions about your girl is a positive thing.
Is it normal this can ruin the sex act and should be saved for once sex is over?
If talking is advisable what type of phrases do you use? Gentle compliments, horny moans along with compliments etc

Yes now I know with her no talking.
But with a different woman i'm in the process of building up to a screw I guess I'll have to ask her.
Feels awkward asking questions like that before sex..I mean especially with a new partner..Once you're doing her a few times you can ask what she likes.
The first 1 -2 times should be explosive and all out animal attraction both people doing/acting as they please.
Then later once the lust is calming down and you both can think more clearly you can ask more intimate questions on what turns her on... i.e. getting to master sex with the particular woman.
Also some women like to please men. They feel awkward being asked what turns them on.. Some feel Like sluts if asked.

I totally agree. I've been with women who didn't want any talking (even when it came to finding out what was working/wasn't working) and it was never as fun as when we could communicate.
Depends on the partner and the mood. When in a goofier more laid back fun mood talking can be A-ok.
